Can someone help me PRONTO! What type of software do you recommend I use to download video directly from my computer. Like if I'm watching a video online, how can I save that to a downloadable file? That I can also download for free off the internet. A quick response is GREATLY appreciated! it depends on what kind of file the video is in. depending on the file type, you might have to convert it, then dl it. |

I don't know...it's from NBC Olympics. Maybe someone could do it for me. I'm not sure how long the video will be up, as it is NBC.  |

I have a question, I downloaded NBC's coverage of Beijing's gymnastics and apolostarr said that she would like me to re-upload it because I want to share it with some other people but stupid megaupoload only uploads half of it. Any advice?

Tdav is the file bigger than 250mb? If it is then that is why megaupload will only upload half of it. Try sendspace to share the file(video) with other people because sendspace allows files up to 300mb, and it's free.
If using sendspace isn't an option then try to zip the file before you upload it to megaupload. Zipping the file will make it smaller, and the person downloading the file will have to unzip the file.

Oh...I forgot about the size part. I'll have to zip it then because it's like 500 something mb. I'll mess with it some more. Thanks.

I know of people that signed up, but their accounts haven't been made active. I don't know who to ask for help since none of the mods seem to log on anymore. I tried to send an email to Lindsey, but I don't know if she still checks that email address.
