Beautiful thoughts, Elle--albeit on a gloomy London morning (even that sounds fantastical to me). And, Bella--I'd never thought about the water thing before, and although it was, actually, very deep, it did strike me as funny...and *looks guilty* makes me think of a particular scene in Vegas' fanfiction... I agree Lindsey..somehow a gloomy London morning sounds soooo much better than the gloomy Chicago morning I am having!!!

I read somewhere once that swans mate for life, I also read that Apolo believes in finding the perfect person for him to be with for life. So I guess you could say Apolo is somewhat like a swan, let's just hope he doesn't hold her head under water like swans do when they mate, cause that could really kill the whole mood.

Once I thought Apolo's eyes reminded me of lighthouse beams, and then I thought about it some more and realized that lighthouses scream "hey stupid, get out of the water before you end up in shipwreck city." I don't know what I was thinking, Apolo's eyes don't scream "hey stupid."

The difference between ordinary men and Apolo is like the difference between generic toilet paper and a name brand. The generic toilet paper is coarse, lacks strength and substance, and can't be counted on to be able to handle whatever crap comes its way and get the job done. The name brand toilet paper, like Apolo, is the exact opposite. You can rely on it to be gentle yet sturdy, to hold up as long as necessary, and to get the task done as quickly as possible.

Um, Snug, the only thing I disagree with is 'getting the task done as quicky as possible'... ...unless my mind is going somewhere that yours wasn't...

Well, my general line of thinking was, as a speed-skater, Apolo's aim is to complete the race in the most efficient and least time-consuming way that he can. Good toilet paper is similarly efficient and time-saving.

And as for MY general line of thinking...*slaps self* Is that your doggie in your avi? Beautiful!

And as for MY general line of thinking...*slaps self* *Snug puts her nose in the air and sniffs delicately* I have high-minded deep thoughts. (She says with a completely straight face and not a hint of irony, after waxing philosophical about toilet paper.) That is Morgan Phoenix, my gentle giant. She is smart, loyal, friendly, and a true ambassador for her breed. Matter of fact, she'd be the perfect dog if she didn't fart so much.

For someone who seems to like expensive watches, shoes, and gold jewelry, Apolo is not very fashion conscious about his clothes. I can tell because he doesn't have his suits altered to fit him perfectly, and he buys a lot of baggy shirts. I mean, if he can afford to spend hundreds of dollars on funky shoes, you'd think he could get a tailor to custom-make his clothes. Like how he was dressed in the Gentlemen's Quarterly shoot.
