Tonight there were around 10 confermed tornado's in North-East Iowa. I live in North-East Iowa. My town was the first in NE Iowa to have a tornado warning. as if that were not bad enough.....my father was with us. He just told us that he is getting remarried. so for an hour and a half, we were in my basement, with him. Well, there were no tornados that touched down in my town, but about 15 miles away, a tornado collapsed a farm shed with someone in it. in Iowa city, there were three or four tornados, one ripping the roof off of a church, with people in it. A menards was destroyed and the city of Anamosa was hit hard. The think that really scared me was that the storm that did all of this damage, was the storm that hit my town! I feel so lucky to still have a house standing and my life! This is the worst night of storms that I remember. This is from the KCRGTV9 Website.

-We have many reports coming from Iowa City of extensive damage across the city. At this point I am weeding through these reports and will post them as soon as possible.
8:52 Update:
-Tornado has been reported in Iowa City, a trained spotter reported tornado headed northeast about 5 -10 minutes ago. They also reported debris falling from the sky and quarter size hail about the same time.
8: 37 Update:
-A home has collapsed in Van Horne (Benton Co.), a 911 call was made asking for help to free a man who was trapped in the home
-There is confirmed storm damage in Marion along Valentine Circle
-A tornado has been sighted near the Wal-Mart in Iowa City
-A tornado has been sighted headed towards the Johnson County Community of Hills
