We in the Pacific Northwest are due for another 'bout of EXTREMELY HOT weather ( 100 on Friday, 102 on Saturday, 105 on Sunday ). This is the second time this summer we have had this kind of weather for several days on end. Then, we get thunderstorms and rain, then cooler temps, then God knows what. I think Mother Nature is just ROYALLY PISSED off and she needs to show us "lowly humans" who is boss! I hope whatever weather you all experience that you all survive it in one piece and that life in your neck of the woods is treating all of you good. Much INSANITY in mine of late, hence my LONG absence. I do miss you guys and this place, though.

It's been hot here too, down in Florida. But at least we have had no hurricanes, as of yet, knock on wood. But wow, North Carolina, who would've know?

Wow apolosangel, that is weird. The whole world is going haywire. I dont care what people say, the wars going on the Middle East is apart of it. It's warming the globe, and is a breeding ground for abnormal weather.

Go see "An Inconveinient Truth", and it's NOT just the War that is causing Global Warming, my dear. We, as human's, are causing it. When Polar Bears in the Arctic are cannibalising each other due to the Polar Ice Caps shrinking at an alarming rate, there is no denying that Global warming does, indeed, exist. I mean, look at all the RECORD heat temps going on NOT ONLY in the states this summer, but abroad in Europe, as well. Nuf said...depressing as H*E*L*L...

amyurban, ever since the dawn of time the earth has experienced periods of intense heat and ice ages. it's cyclical. and it's not like it's humans' fault. though we may have contributed to ozone depletion the world was probably going to heat up anyway as we just had an ice age end.

I do believe there are quite a few capital letters missing:
1) "...ages. it's..." 2) "...cyclical. and..." 3) "...fault. though..."
Since we were on the subject of punctuation, I thought it was appropriate.

Weather in Illinois of late My friend had it worse than me. My tree fell into the horses fence, it was ready to go, but I heard nothing. That was, strange. Some people still w/out power. The heat sucks, I'm sorry but we are not helping ourselves out w/ the problem either. Yes it will be hot, but to me, it's only going to get hotter. But the storms here, besides the tree thing, are, well, hardly there. I hate tornados and I am very much afraid of them. It's bluster, then, poof, it's gone. I at least want some rain, I like thunderstorms. I know, I know, I'm crazy.
