Ahn is in training This photo of Ahn Hyun-Soo accompanies an article from Chosun.com dated Sept. 5, 2008. The article states that after nearly 8 months off the ice, Ahn is currently in training with an eye toward the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. As best I can determine, he is doing 2 hours of skating and physical reinforcement training in the morning, and then he heads over to the rehabilitation center in the afternoon for 5 hours of rehabilitation and muscular power training. Two dates come up in the article: December and April. It sounds like Ahn is aiming for the Korean national team selection, but I'm not sure how these two particular months play into that. sports.chosun.com/news/news.htm?name=/news/sports/200809/20080906/89f69113.htm I think that this might be the image of his knee (probably not current, though.) I'll try to investigate further.

so glad to hear he's got his eyes set for december!
hope he makes the korean national team this year 
he looks much better with his natural colored hair...that orangy-red color many asians were wearing just doesn't blend with their skin color

Glad he is back to training! Hope he is doing well. (Is it just me, or did he get hot? LOL) It's not just you!  If we're noticing, many more women are noticing as well. Hopefully, he'll seize the opportunity (I'm thinking commercial endorsements here, LOL!) But IMO, Apolo will be the more compelling story in Vancouver. With any luck, Katherine will be, as well. I'm glad he's back to training doing well and all, but that is a REALLY hot picture of him! I thought he had a girlfriend?

Woo-Hoo! Thanks for the info on Ahn - I wish him all the best for a full recovery, and yes, I like the new look!  On another note, I had promised a summary of all the details for the 2 World Cups... I have to plead laziness... I figure that at this late date, anybody who's going is going, and anybody who isn't, isn't. I do want to mention 2 things... I’m standing on the brink of 1000 posts, and I can’t think of a better place to ‘use’ #1000 than here. I can't believe that I'm about to become a 4-digit poster – where has the time gone? I must admit that it's a traumatic experience ~ it screams to me, 'yes, Lori, you must now count yourself among the ranks of the hopelessly addicted'... I even considered creating a new membership and starting over from scratch – back to Post #1. Kind’a like ‘Lori – Part Deux’. Believe me, the thought that with one mouse click I could live my (online) life over was very tempting! I DO realize that I’m in good company ~ some currently active posters who I will be joining in this ‘beautiful madness’ are Tabatha, Number1Fan, Jennaceeta, Bella, Laura6, Ally, Christy, Mtnme, Elle, Lindsey, Nerka, ApolosAngel, Susie, Lexi, MT, Tdav, LisaM and Aaosmts19. …and there are at least a dozen of you out there who I WISH would ‘join the club’ some day. Your insightful and/or humorous posts are a rare treat. August and Casper…(?)
