Had a great time watching the WC with you guys....hope to do it again 3 more times this year. And I'm registered and waiting on my confirmation here.  Congrats to Team USA on a silver and bronze (unofficial as of now)! ;D |

Had to bale before the relay. I'm glad the mens team got a silver. Congrats to Allison for getting a bronze. Seemed like a rough weekend for team USA, but you know they'll have one he11 of a rooting section next weekend - and a whole lotta love coming their way.
Go team USA. On to SLC!

I completely forgot about the WC in Quebec today. So Apolo fell, is he ok? And how did he do? I saw something about him being DQ. I'm so lost can anyone give me a recap? It would be muched appreciated. |

Lisam, Apolo DQ'd in his 1500 heat. He made the semi in the 1000m #2, but something appears to have gone very wrong for him in the race, since he was more than 30 seconds behind -- we're speculating a fall, but we don't really know. He won his "B' race after an apparent restart, resulting in a 5th place finish. Our men won the silver medal in the relay. Overall, I think he did an excellent job after being away from international competition for so long.
And yes, our team is coming HOME for next weekend's competition! We will be yelling ourselves hoarse, you can bet on it! ;D

Hi everyone, Doonick just posted some great pics from Quebec on the pictures thread. Apolo did in fact fall, ouch, a full on - spread eagle. I don't know if he was interfered with, booted out, or both - but it certainly wasn't pretty. Good pics of the relay. Team USA came in second. EDIT: Hey Susie, we need to come prepared! Throat lozenges, hot tea and honey, whatever- 'cause we definitely need to seriously vocalize and support our team next week.  |

Oh, no! I hope Apolo is okay. Seems like a definitely different vibe than just Nationals where they are just competing against their own team members.

team usa is coming home for some home cookin' this coming week and will be ready and prepared for wc #6 in slc!!!

those videos were awesome!Peter Rocks!I think Apolo had an off weekend.But I am sure he will regroup and be fine next week.As for that music the first song made me feel like I was at a blue grass festival.
