One of the Canadian skaters, Turcotte, is 5'4", and he looks quite a bit shorter than Apolo in the pictures of both of them. Rusty Smith is said to be 5'8" also, and they do look pretty close in height in their pictures.
Sometimes you slump, sometimes you wear shoes that have more support and are thicker...
Who knows? We're just going to have to measure him.

no - i'm not 5'8" i was really shocked to see how short apolo really is. i'm 5'3" but i did have heals on, so perhaps i was more like 5'5"-5'6"? i know we all commonly think he's 5'8", but reamember reading somewhere that he's 5'6".... 5'6?  |

Don't worry, Jay. Some people say he seems shorter than they thought he'd be.
Others say 5'8" seems about right.
Until you stand next to him and get to judge for yourself, he can be whatever height you want him to be.

I think Rusty and Apolo areon the shorter end of 5'8". I actually think they're just over 5'7" and they round up.  |

centimeters?! egad! are you visiting us from europe? or asia? us americans must be the only morons left on the planet that refuses to use the simplest system of measurement!
you can count me in as one of those morons...i have no idea how many centimeters i am! unless, you're joking about that?!
i think i'm 1575 cm...if apolo is supposed to 5'8" (that's 68 inches) then he's 1700 cm.
ha ha! that sounds so weird!

oh, woops, that was not what i was getting at. i was just informed that lance basss is now presumed to be gay. that was not my intent at all sorry, i need to catch up on ALL holiwood news huh?
i remember when apolo was on something and telling the story of the ghost in italy and he was saying all of the people that were staying in that house and he said "my team mates , the sports psychologist,,," so maybe he is just part of his crew. the only problem is, as a therapist, i know that you can not treat friends or family, so maybe he is just a smart guy that apolo likes to hang around with.
also maybe someone was questioning that because apolo does not have a girl out there for everyone to know about it. apolo and david are probably laughing at the idea and maybe that was their intent. haha!

I tell you guys, I am 5'6'' and Apolo is definitely taller than I am. Of course, I will have to stand next to him again and look up into his eyes just to make sure.  |

btw, i'm wearing the exact shoes i wore when i met apolo last week! [sigh]...memories! i even took a picture of HIS shoes, cuz i thought they were ugly!
