Was that guy who gave Apolo the keys to the city as huge as he appears--or was everybody else sitting down?
I know some of those Hawaiian guys are big.

yes, he tried to do flips but fell on his bum, and everyone around laughed at him. hehehe. I think I heard him say it somewhere, forgot which interview. I spell it snowboard, but whatev.

Regarding the snowboarding: I tracked down an interview from 2003 called "Apolo Gives 110%" by Kelly Milner Halls. This was for Guideposts for Teens. He discussed the disasterous snowboarding incident in there, so it may be the one Tabby was talking about. I don't know how to put in the link, but there's enough info here for you to google your way to it if you want to check it out.
