Just heard "Light On"...LOVE IT!!! It's weird, I voted for Cook like crazy, but...I actually like Archie's "Crush"

Light On has a great hook. He sang in on SNL but he was SO nervous.. got pitchy in spots. Crush on the other hand is always great because David is pitch perfect. Do listen to his new album...the tracks are so wonderful. My favorite is the simplest one, You Can.

more exposure for the Idols..NYC love fest. DJA featured in the Macy's parade and Cook to sing at the big tree lighting. good on you, boys. now if only I can come up with tix to the Dec 12 Jingle ball...great line up and sold out (but for hundreds of dollars of course the scalpers have plenty.) if I wait til the last minute there is usually a good ticket to be had. obsessed? me???

I've scored a Jingle Ball ticket.. floor seat close up... yay for the fansites and those who want another fan next to them. I will also see natasha Bedingfield and NeYo.. two other faves. I've been listening more to Cook's CD and it's growing on me but not exactly hum along music. Love lyrics etc for Life on the Moon. AOL Sessions with Archie is utterly fabulous.. what a great singer.

Number1... Thanks so much for posting my short conversation with you from Pomona! I really wished you could've been there but it was even crazier than Tempe, AZ! I was lucky to be about 3rd row from the stage, just right of center. But any further back, it would've been difficult for any vertically-challenged to see. But the venue does have side-risers and a balcony area. I'll be making this short cos I'm preparing to leave to SLC, the finale of David's first-ever solo tour... the end of this chapter for this talented kid! This concert will be bittersweet, his homecoming show, but the last appearance in the USA for the time being... until another tour is announced. Mari... I'm so bummed for you (and me), not being able to join me and the rest of your David fan-friends, for this unique experience. But I'm going to keep bugging you for the next tour! Wildfire... I'm going to miss you too! Sam flew with me (and others) to the Reno concert at the Grand Sierra Hotel (the old Reno Hilton). The mosh pit here was even crazier than Tempe or Pomona! All of David's shows have been sold out... amazing! ;D I've been coming to this site as often as I could get to a computer on the road... I didn't take my laptop since I was ride-sharing with 3 others. Especially during the World Team events, I was perusing the results... I just didn't have time to comment. Thanks to everyone who kept up with the results and posted it here! I'm leaving for SLC with a friend very early Friday morning... Sam's not going on this trip... he'll drive us to the airport. There will be a huge gathering of fans from some of the fansites... with a pre-concert lunch and an after-party. The organizer bought a block of tickets for the fans... 850 tickets! That's how large the 'fan-group' will be, plus 'everyone' else! The organizer is trying to plan sight-seeing activities for Saturday, such as, going to Temple Square. If I have time on Saturday, I might take a drive to the Oval, just to show it to my friend. The concert is at the E Center... with the cluster of hotels there. These hotels will be jam-packed with concert attendees. We short-track fans stayed there for the first time in December, 2007. A large group of us are staying at the Crystal Inn, where Sam and I stayed in 2007. That year, Lori, Michelle, Joyce, Debbie and Barabara were at the Country Inn right across the street. I'll be thinking of ya all... only this time I'll be there for David instead of Apolo! Met David for photos, autographs and a hug! David is 18, but he says he feels 14 ~ and he looks it! David is accepting a gift (a small angel) from my friend. His 'people' say that he looks at every gift, reads every card, which number in the thousands! He is the most humble soul, so grounded and deserving!

He sounds like another mature, grounded young man that I know of! Lily, it sounds like you're having the time of your life! I hope that you really enjoy David's last concert on this tour. I know that you'll take lots of great photos, and that David's fans will love you all the better for it. So do we!

Everything Lily says about David and his band mates is true. I was lucky enough to see 2 East coast performances and David live is as good as it gets musically. She has sent wonderful recaps of each concert and there are youtubes (be sure to watch those by Gengen) of each. It's killing me to miss out on SLC's finale..it's going to be epic.

#1... you make me wish I had talked you into driving out to Pomona on St. Patrick's Day! David is such a kid at heart... he pointed to his beige/brown-looking shirt that night and said, "there really is green in this shirt, so you can't pinch me!!!" That brought down the house. By the way, Jason Castro ~ number 4 in the AI line-up, was in the audience to see David! Thanks to Mari and her new litter of corgi pups, I had some personal attention from the bassist of David's band... LOL Susie... I shot over 700 pics over the 3 days of traveling to Tempe, Pomona and Reno! I just let the camera shoot continuously at times... but now I have to view them all and cull out the bad ones! Another monumental job... and I haven't even had time to go through all of my St. Louis short track pics! But that's my problem.... LOL

Lily's trip to David A's magnificent finale concert in SLC was amazing. Can't wait for more details. The videos are mind blowing. In one month on the road he became a tremendous performer and his voice is even more perfect than last year. Now off to Asia and the UK.
