I logged back in a little while ago and most of the photos are gone... it just says [image] where the pics had been... what's up with that??? Or... is this a normal occurrence???

I'm just guessing, Lily, but the same thing happened to me awhile ago with some Apolo pictures I'd posted. I cleaned out / rearranged my Photobucket account and didn't realize I was deleting any pictures linked to this site at the same time. Did you possibly do this?

It's not only my photos, but most of everyone else too! I'd better go check out Photobucket... can you all see ALL the photos? Really is baffling!!!!!

Hi again, I just skimmed through this thread again and I can see all of the pictures. Hmm.....mystery. Thanks, Lexi and thanks, Number1fan, for your PM, regarding my *viewing* problem. Previously, I had always logged on to GA from my Netscape browser. Since I'm still missing actual pics, I logged off and came back here using IE browser. Well, blow me over, I can see all the pics here... so the problem is with Netscape. I knew something was *fishy* when the home page of GA didn't have the 4-photo collage of AAO at the top, with Netscape. There are certain things that work better (for me) with Netscape so I still use it (yeah, old-fashioned, I know!) Anyway, all is not lost... thanks for your help, ladies!

From the sky to the sea... this is from the top of the tram at Mt. Alyeska ski resort, in the middle of June this year. This is my best friend who travel with us frequently. Cool pics, lily! A friend of mine used to work at the Alyeska Prince Hotel. Seems like a beautiful place.

I worked for a summer in Alaska. The seafood was incredible and sooo fresh! I definately got spoiled..... I felt that way when I moved from Hawaii - I NEVER ate fish till I lived there, now I'm hooked, but 'spoiled' as well - I keep looking for fish as good as I had there! Angelina, your view is breathtaking! ~Just another day in Paradise~ Lily, I've always wanted to go snowboarding at Alyeska...(and now I wanna party with you and your friends afterwards!) I need to get off my arse & post some pics - problem is, the ones I have in mind aren't on my computer, so I have to scan them *gag* - but the REAL kicker is FINDING them first! *double gag*

I have enjoyed reading through this thread so much! I love reading about the places people live and have traveled to. I'm inspired to add my own: Bella’s Blog, Installment One – Where I’m fromI’m from a small factory town in Upstate NY – very Normal Rockwell. Here are some images: the railroad tracks Market street (the main strip) The back roads in Autumn. Just outside the main village is all hilly forest type terrain with lots of deer and other wildlife. As kids we used to head out into the woods and build forts and stage glorious battles. This is an image from a beautiful system of caves and gorges near the little town where I grew up. There is a glass factory in town where they make exquisite Steuben glass. Both my Grandfather and my Dad worked for the factory. So did my uncles and most everyone else in town. Here’s the river that runs through town. On the fourth of July, we’d bring blankets and spread them out on the river banks and gaze up at the fireworks.

Bella, I love your pics. Market Street looks beautiful. I also love this picture. The image you gave of fireworks on the 4th of July from that vantage point is so vivid in my mind. Lily, great pics of the Navy fleet. Very reminiscent of where I'm from as we're the Atlantic base for Canada's Navy. There's a real sense of pride, isn't there? It's interesting how so many of you are from Southern California. I always get a kick out of it when one poster mentions they live '8 miles' away from the pic another poster posted. You'll all have to meet up!

(My good friend, with the Moody Blues fan base, lives near Norfolk, VA, where the Atlantic fleet is and her husband took us onto the the Naval base there.) I'm sorry that we didn't get to Halifax when we were in your area. We loved the Cape Breton area too. I can say that I recognize some of the photos which were posted. Yep, we Apolo fans may be able to meet in SLC!
