Thanks, its nice to read about how Julianne is doing. I wish her the best with her music career. She seems like she would be good at acting too, the camera loves her, I could see it on DWTS and in some pics of her as a child. I saw them at the "other" site, and some pics of younger Apolo that I never seen before.

Thanks for starting this thread just about Julianne. She's a gorgeous talented young lady. She was a perfect match for Apolo on DWTS...I can't wait to find out who she's paired with this season. I wish her all the best personally and professionally. She has a really bright future ahead of her!

I was doing some searching for any Apolo news in Utah and found this about Julianne. Its when she performed her "I"m a Dancer" song on the local tv channel. Thanks, number1fan. It's nice to see what she's doing, too, and I can't spend hours searching the net for both of them!  Looking forward to seeing her on DWTS this fall, though I won't follow with the same enthusiasm I did this past spring! |

However, I checked out her pictures and there is a picture of her & Z taken after the DWTS tour (in Idaho). Don't want to "rain on anyone's parade," but thought people would want to know, see, and come to their own conclusions.

Summer ’07
Hey everyone,
This is the first time I have ever written a blog.. ha...here it goes..
I had an amazing summer. Not only was I able to go on tour with Dancing With the Stars after winning Season 4 with Apolo, but I also had the opportunity to go to Nashville.... but we'll get to that later.
The DWTS tour was awesome! It felt like the whole cast was on vacation. We were in great cities, with great hotels (pools, beaches etc) and not to mention we were able to perform in some of the greatest venues in the country.... DOING WHAT WE LOVE!!! It was amazing... thank you to everyone who came to the shows and supported us.. we had a blast, and we hope you did too!
NEXT... right after the tour finished I flew straight to ID, I have been going there every year since before I was conceived (ok sorry a little too much information). it was so much fun I have the best family.
Ok now here comes the highlight of my summer..... NASHVILLE!! Wow I absolutely love it there. My sister lives there so I was super lucky I had a place to stay... 3 weeks in a hotel by your self can get a little lonely. (I know, I'm in Miami training Helio right now.) While I was there I was running around like a headless chicken. I met with publishers, song writers, musicians, singers, producers, record labels, managers... etc. I was completely overwhelmed, but in a good way. I felt like I was in a dream. I still feel like I'm in a dream. It is just amazing how many talented people there are in Nashville, and to actually have the opportunity to meet and work with them was so incredible..
I started recording my album while I was out there. I am working with David Malloy. He produced "Will You Dance With Me". He is a genious and I am so greatful and privileged to be able to work with him again. I also cut 3 songs with John Rich (Big&Rich). He wrote the songs so I thought it would be really cool if he produced them too. John is incredible. I really have been the most fortunate girl to be working with these amazing people. Not to mention the super talented musicians that worked on the tracks. Everyone has just been great and I really am surrounded by the best team. Not only are they the best talent wise, but these people are genuinely nice and that is what makes a journey and experience worth remembering forever.
I'm not finished with the record yet... (If I had finished it in 3 weeks I'd be worried).. but i'm still working on it, even with Dancing With the Stars in the mix. I'm hoping to release a single at the top of the year... I'm extremely excited to take the next step in this crazy adventure. Still to this day it feels like make believe.
Well, that was my summer, and now I'm here in Miami training my new partner on DWTS, Helio Castroneves.
I hope that my First blog ever wasn't too much of a bore... thanks for reading it though.... even if it was!

Wowza, Number1! If she's working with John Rich, she's doing verrrrry well. He's one of the most successful songwriters (not to mention performers) around. He and Kenny Alpin (Big Kenny of Big & Rich) 'discovered' Gretchen Wilson - John encouraged her to start writing songs, and either wrote or co-wrote (with Gretchen) most of her songs, and we all know how SHE skyrocketed to the top!
I wonder if any networking was done when Big & Rich performed 'Save a Horse...' last season on DWTS?
At any rate, good on ya', Julianne! ;D

There are backstage pics of Julianne with Big & Rich from last season, and it seemed they were the guests she was most excited about. I wish her the best of luck on her CD and look forward to hearing it. |

A very sweet blog from Julianne. She seems very busy and is a hard worker for a young girl. I think she is completely focused on her career right now, as she should be. She is way too young to be thinking or contemplating any permanent romantic plans. Beside, in that department what is meant to be will be. I wish her well with DWTS this season!  |

Awesome news from Ju Ju, haha, thats cute! I'm so excited to see DWTS start tomorrow and see her and Helio dance! I'm so happy for her and all her success so far.
