If you haven't already purchased Julianne's debut cd, her song "My Hallelujah Song" is this weeks FREE iTunes download. The description even mentions Apolo. Okay, I am completely technologically idiotic... does anyone know if I can download songs to my computer even though I don't have an ipod? I'd love to do this if I can, and just play it on my computer. Thanks for any help you can give!

I finally watched/listened to the Anthem sung by Julianne at Indy. She was better than I anticipated. I'm not crazy about her voice but it will mature over time. Whether she will make it as a country singer is TBD. She was fortunate that her dancing talent opened doors that would likely otherwise not have been open for her because there are a ton of better singers out there. She doesn't write songs that I am aware of and she doesn't play the guitar. Aside from that, she has the looks, personality and charisma to afford her the opportunity. We'll see what she makes of it over the next couple years.

Her freshman album soars to no.3!
JULIANNE HOUGH is still dancing -- right on up the music charts!
Her self-titled debut sold 67,000 copies in its first week, according to Billboard, placing her at a solid number three on the Top 200 chart.
The "Dancing with the Stars" champ parlayed her TV success into a record deal with Mercury Nashville based on the success of her digital single "Will You Dance with Me" last year.
ET brought you to the set of her very first music video for "That Song in My Head," the first track off the album, which is currently a top 100 single.
"I've always wanted to sing country music," the 19-year-old told Billboard. "I've been singing as long as I've been dancing and it's actually a bigger passion of mine."
She is now prepping to tour as the opening act for BRAD PAISLEY. They'll hit the road starting June 11 in Albuquerque, N.M.

She has a nice voice and I like the few songs I've heard, but she probably would not have had this opportunity without her dancing success. Thanks, Aofreak, for the article about her album hitting the No.3 spot. Pretty incredible!

I just read that the track "Dreaming Under the Same Moon," Julianne's duet with Derek, was written by their sister Marabeth. It's mind-boggling how talented their family is.
