Good evening Lindsey! I was curious if you just pop onto the sight do you appear as a guest? How do you register as a guest? And can a guest be invisible? There seem to be alot of guests here lately, have you noticed and there is a constant invisible. I just like to understand. Thanks, Pegs.

Yeah, there have been an abundance of guests here lately...hmmm? I have also noticed the invisible user here quite often as well, but I know who that is.

Peggy, if you don't log in, you appear at the forum page as a guest. People who are just browsing the site appear as guests, as well. As to your question, how do you register as a guest? Well, you just register -- and then you aren't a guest anymore...you're a member! I do see a big number of guests here lately. That could mean members are lurking and don't want anyone to know they're on, or our site is getting a lot of visitors. Members can make themselves invisible, and guests are always anonymous.
Hope that answers your questions!

Some people have been asking about the updates on the main website and I have to say, I'm not sure what is going on with the news script. I keep trying to update it with the new info about Apolo on DWTS and I just can't get the script to write. I might have to reinstall it once I get back to school but as things are painfully slow with dial-up, I'm just going to wait another three days. So sorry, guys! I probably shouldn't hint around at this in case I get swamped at school again, but I'm hoping to get a re-design up soon. Maybe after we get some new pics with Dancing with the Stars!!

Karma is a way other posters can sort of salute you. If you like something someone posts and it really resonates with you, you can "exalt" them by clicking on the exalt button under their avatar. Each click translates into a Karma point. The more Karma you have, the more you are loved! I try to exalt someone every time I log in. You can only exalt once every hour, so choose wisely. Smite is like the opposite of Karma. We are friendly folk around here and don't use smite too much on each other, but it works the same as Karma, only in reverse. When you smite someone, the person loses a Karma point. That's how Karma is used on this forum, and many others, but the origins of Karma are in religion. Here's what the dictionary says about Karma: KARMA: the force generated by a person's actions held in Hinduism and Buddhism to perpetuate transmigration and in its ethical consequences to determine the nature of the person's next existence In other words, you do good deeds and live life ethically, and in the next life, you come back in a higher state (say, a princess, or something). But, if you do harm to others and give in to vices and immorality, then you might come back as a lizard or coc kroach or something like that. You get the idea.
