 All I can think of to say is, What the....?!?? I hope Apolo is okay, whatever the reason it's cancelled! Someone shed some light on this as to why and what happened...A Guest?! I am seriously  ...dang ya'll, I'm bummed.

Hi there - I checked the website but still no news about tickets reservations/sales. Has anybody heard anything? I'll give them a call and see if we can get any updates. Not sure if I'm going, but want to get the information together just in case. I thought the World Cup seemed far away last December and now it's next weekend already! Time goes fast - April 19 will be here before we know it. There wasn't any kind of a message about this when I called. Well, I guess they won't be calling me back....bummer. And nothing mentioned on the website. It's still up. Odd. |

Here's a small update. There is no OFFICIAL CANCELATION of this event at this time. There are many ppl who plan to go, and they are in touch w/the powers that be regarding this information and where it originated. More concrete information "from the horses mouth" so to speak (LOL) will be forthcoming tomorrow I would think. It's a weekend. Exactly who would have time to cancel this event over a weekend when Apolo is skating? Hopefully it will be much ado about nothing for those who were hoping to attend.

I happened to google "a night with apolo" to go to the site and see if there was any update (there wasn't). But also the search returned a video, called the same, by Maria Garcia. It's essentially a very brief slide show with the specifics of the event. In the right-hand corner, by the description of the video, it says "has been cancelled'.
Another mysterious indicator....

This is my first post on GotApolo. I have been a regular at OZ for quite some time. It's official, the Nikkei event scheduled on April 19th in Seattle has been cancelled. I just received an email from Kurt (Event Manager) regarding "A Night with Apolo". The word he used was postponed until 2009.

Wow, wonder what happened? Hopefully his site or the Nikk site will have an update soon.
