Wow, this years event sounds huge as compared to last year. Can't imagine that there will be as much "intimate contact" as there was last year. Wasn't he able to sit with each table during the courses of the meal? Still glad to see that Apolo is continuing with this effort to raise money for such an important issue as elder care, etc.

Generally speaking, I don't post here alot, I'm getting use to the sight and other things within here but I can update you on this...I think the Nikkei tickets are actually $275.00 now. No individual tkts are on sale as of now since they are working on the corporate and NPO groups first, I think. Just general info. Nothing 100% confirmed but I thought I would just let you know "what I think I know" LOL

I was just looking at this great Maria Garcia slideshow that Lori posted earlier from the last event...it certainly does look like it will be on a much grander scale this year. Go Apolo! www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJSxrAtAG60

I don't post much but we are thinking of going. Do you all have your reservations?? I was going to check out the flights and hotels today.............but after I read the last few post I'm wondering if I should wait for an "event" rate at the Sheraton.

Hi aao2010! I would say to wait a little bit...the tickets aren't even available yet for the NWA gala. If you are worried and wanting to go though, I'd recommend getting airfare sooner than later because there are some good deals going on right now...however, they tend to fluctuate regularly so keep checking fares. The hotel is suppose to be having a special rate so I'd wait on that, definintely! Hope this helped .

I just got an email from Kurt with this info......... *Tickets are $250.00-they will be taking ticket reservations soon .........if you know your going he will put your name on the reservation list. *The Sheration will offer a reduced room rate of $160/night for those attending A Night With Apolo. *The event is a formal event, however black tie is not mandatory

I've got to post *something* here... so that this thread doesn't retreat off of front page! So, just a reminder... when in Seattle, there is a *free ride* zone (per bus) in the downtown section... from the Space Needle area in the north, to the AMTRAK station area in the south. However, the Monorail is apparently down at the present, according to the website regarding public transportation in Seattle. I guess that rambling will keep this thread on the front page, I hope!

Hi there - I checked the website but still no news about tickets reservations/sales. Has anybody heard anything? I'll give them a call and see if we can get any updates. Not sure if I'm going, but want to get the information together just in case. I thought the World Cup seemed far away last December and now it's next weekend already! Time goes fast - April 19 will be here before we know it.

One question although I didn't plan on going even though Seattle is only 5 hours from here I wonder what happened. In my opinion I hope it wasn't because he does not want to participate in the charity event any more. That would be very unApololike.
