Ok this might be kind of a dumb question, I guess I don't know much about this subject (don't get out much lmao) but anyway...
I've been at my job working at a hotel for a year and a half now, and there's a guy that comes I don't know...about once a month or so to service the washing machines at the hotel. He's the one person that comes and does it. Anyhoo, So he comes monthly...very nice guy, friendly with everyone etc. I'd say about 2 months ago he came and serviced the machines, I remember being the only person in the room at the time and ya know, and we make small talk yada yada lol...at one point he asked me how old I was...I said I'm 24, but people always think I'm like 15-16 (I look young for my age
) he says "Really? I thought you look 21 to me." I told him "Really? you're the first person to tell me I look older than a teenager!" he told me some people can't believe he's "almost d**n near 30!" lol. He continued to do his job and we weren't saying anything to each other and all a sudden he goes "so...24 huh?" like he was thinking about it or something, lol.
Anyway he came again a week ago...I was the only person in the room again and I was busy doing something and my back was turned. All a sudden I hear somebody say in a joking manner "Get to work!" I turn around, recognize him and we say hi. He starts to do his job, and I continue to do mine and we start making small talk again. He asks me if i got any plans for Christmas ect. and if I'm originally from here...I say yeah and said 'you're not from around here are you?" and he said no and told me where he lives (in a town about an hour and 1/2 away.) Then he asked me if I come to the town he lives very often, and I said no, not that often, and then my supervisor came into the room all a sudden and asked him a question, even though she interupted our conversation lol.When he was talking to my supervisor he mentioned he'll be here again next month and this time he'll be able to stay overnight rather than drive home and back again the next day.
Later when he was done, he had a tablet computer, and he needed my bosses signature, but she wasn't there and he could've asked another coworker who who's been working there 17 years! or my supervisor, but he asked me to do it. His computer wasn't working and it wasn't letting me sign my name, and I was putting pressure on the pen to try to get it work lol, then all a sudden he put his hand on mine to try and get the pen to work too (I know I'm small, but I'm not that weak to write with a pen! lmao.) Then he was trying to reset something on the computer so I could try to do it again, and he apologized ( apologized for the hand thing or the comp. not working, I don't know.) While I was signing he asked what my first and last name is.
All this time and he's only started to be really chatty with me the last few times he's come (when nobody else was in the room at the time, it seemed.) and like a dummy I didn't even ask what his name is
lol. When he left there were people in the room again and he said bye to them and before he was about go out the door he looked back at me (didn's smile or say anything...to me, had a look on his face that said 'ohhh I have to go now') and I just said bye.
Ok, that's the story...sorry for it being so specific and perhaps lame, haha. I didn't think nothing of it at the time, but afterwards I started to think about the situation...but I'm probably making it out to be nothing and doesn't mean anything? Just 2 people talking...guys and girls talk to each other without it meaning anything. He's a nice friendly guy and seems to talk to anybody...it's just that the whole pen/hand thing threw me off
So what's your guys' opinion...just friendliess, or...?

...I don't know if he heard me ask that question or not. He was across the room doing his thing and we didn't say anything else to each other.
I had a chance while he was pressing buttons on the machine thing...nobody else was in the room for those few minutes. I froze up, I was dumbfounded. While he was outside I was anticipating him coming back inside, so maybe we could talk, and I said to myself "If he leaves before I ask him his name, I'll be kicking myself."
That would be kind of weird (and obvious!) if I asked her his number LMAO! I was tempted to ask what his name is, but I didn't. I think It'd be better to get his name from the man himself. Besides, I don't want that getting around work...gossip spreads like wildfire there! Nobody knows anything about all this as far as I know...I never said anything.
