Well, he didn't come...even though I disagreeisant manager mentioned he was coming today...unless he came before I got to work this morning; or maybe he couldn't make it for whatever reason, who knows? Oh well, wasn't meant to be; guess I better start getting over it lol.   |

Ok, this is an update but, not really lol anyway... So here's the deal...call me crazy but I still just can't let this go. I'm the kind of person who needs closure on something in order to move on...all this "what if" stuff is crazy. Today at work my manager and co-worker mentioned him again....about how he needs to come and check out one of the machines to fix something on it. My co-worked said "but he only comes once a month, but what day of the month?" (I'm thinking, once a month? shoot, it's been almost 4 months since I saw him last!) I guess he's due to come again in June sometime...not sure when, or if I'll happen to see him again. I'm not holding ym breath anymore  Anyway, so I went out on a limb and goggled him (I know, I know, it's almost stalker-ish behavior, and maybe wrong, but I'm curious!) and I happened to stumble on a website called linkedin.com (anyone heard of it?) and I think I found his profile (now that I know his first name) I think I got his last name right, but not 100% sure...the city on "his" profile isn't correct, but maybe the company he works for is based out of that city *shrug* but I'm like 80% sure lol. So I'm thinking, if it works...do you think I should sighn up for that website and try to contact him through there? (even though I'm not 100% sure if it's his profile) or should I just wait it out and hope to see him again sometime in June? I need closure or I'll never know what could be!  lmao I'm a nerd, but I don't care anynmore. If it turns out he's got a girlfriend/fiancee/married/separated/divorced/has kids, whatever! I just want to know, so I can see where this goes or move on. If I try to contact "him" through that website, I don't want him to think I'm "stalking" him after all this time on the internet...what would he think? would he be creeped out? would he care? does he even remember my name? lol...I need some advice here |

Yeah, I want to, but watch me almost do it, and be too chicken to press send lol. He hasn't tried to contact me, i'm on Facebook! (he's not) so...why should I try to contact him maybe I should just say hell with it  I asked someone else about this, and she said "but you don't know if he has a girlfriend...what if he has kids!" then I asked her: "would a guy who is already taken ask another girl if she had a nice Valentine's Day?" and she said "Well, some people would probably say that" ugh (this coming from someone who only dated one person and has been marroed for over 20 years lmao) I'm so confused...a little message like 'just wanted to say hello' or something wouldn't kill anyone...don't have anything to lose, really. I don't know anymore... |

Any other advice? I didn't send that message yet.
He keeps being mentioned at work, because they need him to come there and fix something...it sounds to me like he'll be coming this week, but I'm not sure. But just watch, he could be there today or Thursday when I have off! so I don't know if I should send a message to him through that website (which he may not even check) now or wait...
This sucks lol.

Well, this has been a very disappointing day... I thought he was supposed to come soon. But, today at work someone said "Chris" is supposed to come and fix 'blah blah blah' I'm thinking...Chris? his name starts with a 'C' so I thought she just said the wrong name. Then at the end of the day it was mentioned again that "he's supposed to come and fix this...Chris, or whatever his name is...the new guy." Ummm new guy?!?! as far as I know my co-workers knew "him" so why would they say there's a "new guy"?! I guess this means he'll be no longer coming anymore. I'll never see him again!  I'm guessing since he said 4 months ago he got promoted, so I'm assuming sombody else does the jobs he used to do. I don't know I feel so crushed and depressed right now. Dejected. Let down. I feel so stupid!!!  |
