Thanks for posting the times Number1 ;D ;D I had to throw in the towel, as my internet service is sooooo bogged down, it takes 3 tries just to post a little blurb, let alone go between several screens and try to copy and paste. (tourists! Every holiday so many people are up here that it bogs down our small town lines of communication and the internet becomes as slow as molasses. That's in between constant error messages) No kidding, I'll have to try to refresh my screen, page back and try to re post at least 3 times for this little message to get up on the board) So THANK YOU again for posting all the times and races!

Mntme Thank for going through all that frustration to get a post up. I always value your comments and opinions...I'm betting we'll be having "tourist" problems in Vancouver too...during the Olympics...but that's just for 2 1/2 weeks not every season like you! Hopefully we'll see the relay results and then they'll post who skated in it. If Apolo's there we'll know he's ok. Musical Mom

Okay - I think I have an answer for ya'. I'm told that there are a couple of scenarios for a DNF that do not involve an injury, and the most likely one is that he could have skated inside a block. The other one involves (to make a long story short) 'missing' the timer at the finish line, which isn't likely since we all saw a time (briefly) at the end of the race.

The Canadians are in a groove. Relay Heat 1, 1st in front of China. Waiting to see if Apolo makes the relay. J.R. too for that matter!

Actually, as it was explained to me, it is usually because another skater forces (pinches) you inside the blocks.
