For me though it's all about respect. I don't think apolo would like being talked about in a raunchy kinda way. But hey i know i don't have to participate. wow, do you really think so? You might be right but I think he would dig it. (Not that he'd admit it to reporters or your avg starry-eyed, giggly questioning fan). I have never, ever, met a man who didn't wish to star in and hear about himself as the center of a girls fantasy life. I have had boyfriends (good little altar boys even) beg for it till I gave up and started making up stuff to cater to their poor little egos. wouldn't it be ironic if the first time I genuinely put a face and a name to my imaginary friend, he doesn't want to be included? Actually, the second time. I guess I can go back to Johnny Depp 'cause I reallly doubt he minds. I just feel real bad about the wife and all. It makes me feel so, immoral. U could be right i dunno it's just not my thing to talk about him that way. I'll keep my fantasies in my head.

And Susie's a teen? I could have sworn you were older! Ya think? Yeah, I'm just a little bit older, lol! I teach school and my little ones are a whole lot more knowing than I was at their age...there's not enough of childhood anymore, IMO.

I agree Susie! I'm so glad I grew up when I did. I was right on the cusp, too. Three or four years later and I think I'd be a totally different person. Who never watched Doug or Lion King or played Super Mario Bros 3, lol. YES I do define my childhood by the media I was exposed to! What?!

Hey, I hear ya. But...the fic I am writing about Apolo, even though it's NC-17, is very respectful of him, I think. A few of the women on here have read it so far ( Teri, Torinogal and Majestic ) and it does not start out as NC-17. Apolo and this woman develop a "relationship" and it's not all about sex. Apolo is a "man" now, and no longer a "little boy" or anything like that. He's getting older, more sophisticated. You can tell in his interviews, how he is handling himself, his thoughts for the future. So I'm really not so sure it'd really "freak him out" per se. He may be a bit giggly about it at first ( like he was when that "obvious" question about whether he has a girlfriend or not came out of the Seattle TV interviewer's mouth, he chuckled a bit ). But I think deep down, he'd be flattered and think it's kind of sexy. It's those "Shy guys" after all that your mamma's should be warning you younger gals about. The loud, boisterous guys are so obvious, it's stupid and obnoxious. I was engaged to a "so-called" shy guy and then, I married one, too. "Shy guys" are not really so shy at all. They are just waiting for the right moment and the right woman to "do their stuff" with. And hey....that's just fine with me. Anticipation is a very strong aphrodisiac!

He could be very flattered. I'm not gonna lie i could right a very interesting fan fic about him cuz i think about him alot. I love that ur writing a fan fic Amy. ;D That's the kind of stories i like the ones that r respectful and beautiful love stories but still really steamy and sexy. LOL

I think everyone should be on the boards.

No Krys, I think they mean should there be a 18+ board, like there is an Unrelated Board or a Apolo Pics board, so if some people want to have more adult conversations, they can. Not a separate forum, just a separate board.

I have really held back on saying this, but thought since I was vocal tonight, what the hay....this board has sort of diminished from a classy fansite to a bit TOO personal and a bit smutsville at times..I know I am only a guest, but I can really see why outsiders might hesitate to join, and very young people might RUN...just my own opinion but I have learned a bit TOO much about some of ya...

Just some REALLY personal stuff that had nothing to do with Apolo on several threads...I didn't like reading it, but that's just me....I love reading about the man, even when I don't post, but I mean some of the things posted were not cool, to me that is. But by the vote, I am absolutely in the minority, so carry on I guess. BTW, I wasn't thinking of anything you said, Laura. I always get a laugh from your posts.

We ALL have those thoughts about the man, but this is different than talking to a girlfriend face to face...I don't mean to make anyone mad, as overall, I have enjoyed this site very much, but I was kind of.....I don't know the right word, when I read some things...it just was inappropriate, especially for young people from other cultures too..Just my opinion, but a big reason I haven't tried to join again. I mean no disrespect to anyone, but it is my opinion. Laura, you make me laugh out loud, because you voice many things I think about THE MAN!!! But some comments have been sort of tacky, and that's the only word I can think of to describe them. Again, I truly mean no disrespect, but it's my thoughts. I do believe it will detract, and I don't think Apolo would go for it. This is only my opinion, however.

Hey Nikki, your thoughts are welcome, and just because you are a guest doesn't mean that you can't post, I mean you have a name we can identify you with so that's a big plus That's why I think there was the various polls on if we should have a board, or if we should control ourselves, etc. Personally, I like hearing and reading about Apolo and what's going on with him too. But then again, I just like having in-depth discussions in general. Don't mind me
