Apolo said at the Torino games he would be in Vancouver in some capacity. He has also always said he would finish school. He clearly doesn't know yet what he plans to do. No answer in that article.

Yeah I guess you are right. I mean that really is the same thing that he said to Bob Costas after he won the 500m. Again, that's why I said that I got over-excited. He might just mean as a fan sitting in the stands. I'm mean, he would be there.

Didn't mean to bring you down, Crimson, but...hey, didn't want you to think he was 100% GOING to skate, either. I just think it's cool he's going to be there, period. If he skates, cool, if not, if he's a coach or doing something really COOL to help make the 2010 Olympics that much BETTER, I am all on board for it, know what I'm saying? I'm just trying to be a bit supportive of the guy. It's hard to go on with your life after you've accomplished something of that sort, I'm sure. It's like "Okay, I've pretty much done what I set out to accomplish as far as THIS area of my life is concerned, now WHAT do I REALLY wanna do?" Sometimes, that is NOT an easy thing to do, trust me, it's not! Good luck, Apolo. Glad you are finishing school, that is so SMART. And whatever you do, just give it the 110% you gave to speed-skating and how can you go wrong, bud?

It doesn't matter now. I just wanted to get excited about the board again. I just wanted to be happy about something again

I think I read that Apolo does not want to be a coach.

Ya he still sounds unsure but i'm gonna support him in whatever he does. Of course i would love for him to return to skating but that's just me being selfish.
