I'd be really [and I mean really] shy. I wouldn't know what exactly to say. I probably wouldn't even say hi cuz I'd be so flippin' nervous to meet him. I know a lot of you would probably relate right?Krysten, have you heard of "OFF" (for "Ohno Force Field"?) Some of his fans came up with that phrase and acronym to describe what happens to them when they meet him -- they either get tongue-tied, say off-the-wall things, or babble incoherently. I was definitely under the spell of the "OFF" when I met him lol -- I asked him if I could take a picture with him and started to talk to him without even introducing myself. Then *I* broke off the conversation when he obviously would have been okay with continuing it for a *little* bit longer (I was trying to be sensitive to not taking up too much of his time.) I also forgot to get a picture of him with the woman who was with me (I met Rosh from OZ that day.) I'm really hoping that if I ever get to meet him again that I can do a little better!
I think that he must be used to it by now though -- the effect that he has on women. Can you imagine what it was like when he first got to be famous? Like -- "Why do women act so strangely around me?" LOL! But he is a really nice guy and I think he goes out of his way to make his fans' time with him special. I was grinning like a fool and floating on air for weeks afterwards.
August, the "In Style" photo is the same one that's on his website -- it's about the same size, too. The caption just mentions that he was at that particular event. I like that magazine anyway, so I bought it, but I might not have otherwise done so. It's nice to see him get the publicity, though.
i understand how you felt on that time....it must be hard for you to take the blame.....well i'm sure you'll meet him when times come
