Yeah people need to think about their actions but at the same time, we don't know what happened with that situation. The story about Apolo and his mom is between Apolo and his family. We don't know WHAT happened with that woman or Apolo, and again until he talks about it, then there really is nothing left to say. Talking and speculating about what happened is really a waste of time.

I understand what you are saying Jay and yeah, I can see that possibility too.
And Teri, yeah I can understand how someone cannot be ready for that kind of responsibility but that's also why I have this thing that I say to people all the time that may sound harsh, but to me, it's all too true and fitting, actually and that is:
"You have to have a license to drive and to get married but they let any d**ned moron have kids". Think about it. I know of WAY TOO MANY people out there that this fits. And hey, I'm glad Apolo's mom HAD him but...people need to THINK before they get pregnant or when they GET that way and don't WANT to be what their serious options are. Their screwed up decisions DO affect the little lives that come along afterwards. Amy, I don't think that's harsh, it really is the truth. Problem is you can't make people act responsibly (even when they get a license ie: drunk drivers). We humans are a flawed bunch. Apolo is at least lucky that his father loves him and took the effort to teach him and steer him in the right direction.

I hear you there. I'd like to meet Yuki just to shake his hand and thank him for being one of them "rare breed" kind of men who would do what he did for Apolo. He should get an award for Dad of the Century or something. Most men would not EVEN do that, are you KIDDING ME?

Yeah, I read that. So sad. He and his dad were very tight. AND...my mother is 74, hit close to home that way, too.

Well in some casses abrotion is a great solution, theres nothing wrong with getting one, im from cali where ya abrotions are no big deal, but lets not get into that. Amy i agree with u on the license thing it affects people and adoption is not the easiest solution, once u have ur child ( i have no idea but this is from my mom and my own speculation) and u actualy hold it in ur arms its hard for some people just to give that up
so all in all im just glad Apolo's mama didnt get one
