Wow I didn't know that I need to get the autobiography. But I don't think they make them any more. Actually some of that is not in his autobiography. Only the part about his mom. I heard from his own lips about him being selfish. Some things I have found out about him is from his own lips.

wow i missed a lot, stupid term paper,
ya i Apolo is def affectec by the lack of his mother hes said as crims did
i just think its so sad to be abandonded like that, iv had problems with my mom and she mentaly left me for a couple of years, and i havnt forgiven her for that but it affects our relationship alot even though we are close, i just wonder what it would have been like if she never had a problem

Yes this is sad, but this is real.
Don't you think tht is maybe the reason why some of us on this board respect Apolo more??? Because we see some of our own selves in him as well?

Do you think Apolo will some day have a conversation with his mom. Do you think he would ask her why she left.

Crims- i think thats true. alot of people on this board have had family problems, and i think we can relate to Apolo because hes gone through similar things its like uv shared a feeling and its like u wouldnt have to explain to him why u do some of the things u do becauses hes felt and does similar things
AAO- i think he will someday when hes older, hes to smart, i believe, to let that opertunity pass him bye

Or maybe he may never say anything to his mom.
I'm telling you it can happen. My brother will be 43 in one week and he hasn't talked to his father since he was 6 years old!
He may just forget it. We looking at the fact that she is a mother and she left her child. It happens people.
Here in Chicago, some girls throw their babies away after they give birth to them. It happens.

I understand what you are saying Jay and yeah, I can see that possibility too.
And Teri, yeah I can understand how someone cannot be ready for that kind of responsibility but that's also why I have this thing that I say to people all the time that may sound harsh, but to me, it's all too true and fitting, actually and that is:
"You have to have a license to drive and to get married but they let any d**ned moron have kids". Think about it. I know of WAY TOO MANY people out there that this fits. And hey, I'm glad Apolo's mom HAD him but...people need to THINK before they get pregnant or when they GET that way and don't WANT to be what their serious options are. Their screwed up decisions DO affect the little lives that come along afterwards.

Lets just be thankful that his mom had him I know some people at the age of 16 and 18 at my school who had an abortion and now they are like messed up in the head because they can't live with themself for what they had done, and the journey of having the baby and being its mother and watching the child grow which is a beautiful thing knowing you brought some one in this world and rised them right. But for me I only feel sorry for those who had thrown their life away to give some one else theirs.
