Kristi was great last night. I have a cute crush on Mark. He so cute with those geeky glasses on. I'm glad she won. Was Apolo there last night? Cause I didn't see them...

Yay Kristi! So the best dancer can win. And a woman no less! And Marky got to take home a trophy he spent a season and a half earning. Even on my fussiest day I can't ask for much more from DWTS than that.

I'm among those who firmly believe that her skating experience, and ballet (taken for years to add to her artistic routines) played no role. Any of the pros would agree that unless it was ballroom, previous dance experience is probably more of a hinderance than a help.

I didn't get a chance to mention it before, but I loved the group Cha Cha. I loved the ending where it looked like the pros were proudly showing off their students, and the Kristi lift was magnificent.

Very honorable mention to Jason and Cristian. Jason learned to make very good use of all the space he takes up. A tall man dancing can be a joy to watch once he learns to own the floor. Cristian put the "T" in trooper with his magnificent attitude, work ethic, and sweet heart.

Kudos to Edyta for making it so far, working so hard, and sometimes even wearing clothes. Also to Cheryl who seems a heck of a lot nicer than she used to. Maybe Cristian worked some magic on her like Mel did for Maks.

And Marky: For bringing out the best in your students I applaud you and I'd give so much for just one dance with you. Three consecutive wins from the students of the house of Ballas! Your turn next Derek!

This season was kind of bittersweet for me. I'm really glad Kristi won and I wanted her to win from the beginning but I was also kind of disappointed that Edyta didn't win because after six seasons, she deserves it.

jennaceeta, that's what I said when I first saw them do that dance. I was like 'He still looks cute even with those glasses!'.

Yahooooo! Congrats Kristi & Mark! I'm so happy they won. Seriously, if Jason (or anyone else, really) had won, i'd have been super pi**ed.

It was fun seeing the other contestants perform again ... well ... most of them anyway. Shannon is still irritating as heck though. Ick.

I was very underwhelmed by Usher. I so wish they'd had a better guest performer!

Whoa, 'just saw this on an AOL news teaser:

Not only is Lance Bass rumored to be competing on the upcoming season of 'Dancing With the Stars,' the out N*SYNC-er may be hitting the dance floor with a man. TV Guide says producers are considering pairing him with a male pro. Bruno Tonioli is gonna love this. (July 11)

I guess it was just a matter of time... My thoughts? It's not fair unless one of them is dancing in heels!
