Shame to have an elimination mixed in with all the fun. Double shame that it was Mario who like Cristian has come remarkably far. They both remind me of Apolo in that we got to watch them actually progress rather than coming out like lions and having to struggle to maintain the momentum.

I totally agree with you August. Yay for Apolo, and boo for Mario leaving the show.

I liked watching Mario because he seemed to progress, and it's exactly how I feel about Cristian. Grant it that I've been a fan of Cristian for a few years, but I liked watching him progress from the first show to now. I just hope that he does well enough to surpass Marissa because if he doesn't do well, I think Marissa will be in the finals.

After watching Apolo and Julianne's dance (for the third time) I think I finally figured out what was 'off'. He was dancing flat footed. He had on his Prada shoes and they have no heel.

It took me a while to determine why some of his dancing looked awkward. His upper body was just fine. Hold was good, timing was good, body contact, all that. I guess that silly little 1 inch heel really can make a difference. JMO.

As you probably know, the R&B crooner was voted off Dancing With the Stars last night along with his dancing partner, Karina Smirnoff.

Read on for our—sigh!—final chat in which he reveals who he thinks should win and a whole lot more.

What was your first reaction when you had been eliminated?
I was like, "Wow! Me?" I was surprised that somebody else didn’t go. I feel like Cristián [de la Fuente] was a little inadequate, because he didn’t have his other arm to perform with...I’m still in shock.

Who do you think should win now?
I want to see Marissa take it home. She has a lot of personality. Give that trophy to Marissa. Dancing is not the easiest thing for her to do, and she still comes out there and performs every week. So if you’re going to kick me off, at least give it to somebody who works hard to live up to the judges' expectations.

How much are you going to miss Len?
After the show, Len and I had a powwow for the first time ever. While you’re on the show talking to the judges is not cool. What are you going to say, “Why did you say that about me?” He said I had a lot of potential and he really enjoyed me the most on the show. He was just being hard on me, because he felt like I could have gone all the way.

I'm not sure if he was joking or not. He was so gracious on the show; i'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I also still hate that he was booted before Marissa.

WOW! 2 more weeks of "DWTS"..This season has came and gone,HUH..Boy was it a good one with Apolo making a sexy appearence!!

Loved, loved, loved Kristi & Mark tonight. Their jive was just "a hair off," as Carrie Ann likes to say, but their tango .... wow. Totally blew me away.

I'm also done (for now) griping about the judging. It makes absolutely no sense, but whatever. It gets Kristi fans like me riled up and voting, so I guess it serves its purpose.

Tom's comment about "channeling Dr. No" was just awesome. He is brilliant!

I admire her and all, but I really hope it's Marissa's turn to go home. I hated her gushing that "We deserve to be in the finals!" I'm sure it rubbed Mario's fans (and many DWTS fans in general) the wrong way.

I agree with you Angelina..Mark and Kristi are amazing.. Those judges are never satisfied.At this point i could careless what they think. It up to our votes now on who makes it to the finals

I don't know why the judges are so inconsistent all the time. Kristi & Mark were great last night as always! I voted for Jason though because I really want to see him in the finals.

This week had to fight to hold my interest after last week, but it managed.

Jason and Cristian topped my list this time. Kristi was great, particularly the tango, but since she's always amazing it sort of takes the "wow" out of it for me. I hate to say that and I'm still rooting for her, but I think you know what I mean. Marissa danced well and screeched her appreciation at her bottom ranking scores. She's a great girl in small doses, but it's really time to say bye bye.

I agreed with Bruno when Marissa had the mis-step. And I was like, huh , I agreed with a judge.
Cheryl is such a pretty girl, but for the love of pete, stop making her wear those gawd awful dresses!
Edyta looked so pretty in her first dance, not to knock on her, but she always looks good in a gown that covers more than it shows. Yeah, she's built, but come on.
Kristi has such grace. I love her. I'd love to see her and Jason's free style.
Cristian has done well w/out using that arm...I didn't catch the whole show. Things have been odd 'round here.

I loved Jason and Edita! They're a hot couple together. It's unbelievable!

I do enjoy Marissa but she HAS to go tonight...AND I'm not kiddin. She has that backbone in her, tho..I still miss Mario...

Christian, I have a new found respect for him. He's a great dancer without his arm. I liked how Len (Is that his name?) put it, not basically the right words, "I think you've changed from dancing without your arm, you concentrate on your dancing more." And that put a smile on his face..Did anybody melt when he spoke his language...Oh my gosh. I men who have their own language.

Kristi, she's just so GOOD! I think she was a little slow on the second dance but I thought her and Mark are a great team! And it shows!

It's either between Kristi and Jason, but my daddy doesn't think so...

Here's my take on last night's show:

Kristi and Mark -- Their tango was quite good from a technical standpoint, but to me, it lacked passion (and I think I'm channeling Len now, LOL!) IMO, there has to be some sort of spark going between a couple, and I just wasn't seeing it here. Their jive was excellent, and I'm wondering if the jive (in general) will become the dance for which they are best known.

Jason and Edyta -- I loved their foxtrot! The music was teriffic ("Let's Call the Whole Thing Off"), the choreography was inspired, and the dance was fun and completely charming. I found Jason's dancing in the Paso a bit soft in the beginning, but by the middle of the dance he was firmly in character. Overall, he did a great job.

Cristian and Cheryl -- I thought their Viennese waltz lacked sharpness, and that the lack of use of his arm was quite noticeable. Their samba was great. I've been enjoying watching Cristian dance more and more as the weeks go by.

Marissa and Tony -- Their quickstep was competent, but I didn't care for the final drag. Their rumba was also fine.

I've been ready for Marissa to go these past few weeks. I feel comfortable with having the other three contestants in the finals.

we're still waiting for the results show on the west coast. My Vote- oh please, let it be Marissa who goes austa la bye bye. I'm still wincing over losing Mario last week. If Kristy leaves, well, let's just say #1) there is no justice in the world and #2) Who are these obviously blind voters who keep voting Marissa to stay? I'll cop to liking Marie staying last season even though she wasn't the best dancer, but at least I found her amusing. Marissa is just kinda annoying. Guess I just don't get all excited about - 'perky'.

In the meantime, here is an audio interview with Julianne. As I suspected, the poor girl can't get a break. She's gonna catch heat no matter what she says, unless it's what peeps want to hear.

I gotta give her props though. If everyone kept asking me the same question a gazillion times and peeps still wouldn't accept my answer, I think after only about the third time I'd be snidely querying, " EXACTLY WHAT PART OF THE WORD NO DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND?"

i know it was time for marissa to go but i felt so bad for her.through the whole season she was not only positive but she made overwieght people and people who have ever felt unattractive that they can do whatever they put their minds too,without anyone telling them their too fat or too unattractive.that took alot of "GUTTS" Now on to the Finals!!!!!
