Go Kristi! Did I spell her name right? Please tell me that I did. I'm gonna miss Maksim! I've always liked him. As for Mark, he's okay, but Kristi will keep him in line. Although Jason is a looker, he irritated me some. But he seems okay. Adam... don't get me started on him. I remember him on love line and the man show. That guy is a reak jerk. I feel so bad for Julianne.

I don't know if this has been posted, but the new cast of DWTS will be on Oprah on February 21 (this Thursday) along with previous winners Kelly Monaco, Emmit Smith, Drew Lachey, and Helio Castroneves.

I'm looking forward to seeing Pricella Presley dance and this Christian whatever looks like some nice eye candy. So Maks is not going to be on, sad but I can understand why, he needs a break. I'm also sad Ashly decided at the last minute not to dance this season, remember her on season 1,2 and 3. I read somewhere that she changed her mind because they couldn't find a partner for her. Doesn't make sense so the info could of been wrong. Anyways, this will be an interesting season for sure. Just hope we get to see Apolo again at the finale!

I'm quite a fan of Marky and Derek and I'm surprised there's negative stuff said about them. They were wonderful with all their fans, especially children, on the tour and I love their music. From a dance aspect, they are superb performers and teachers. Kristi is a perfect match for Mark. Jason with Edyta is a great match up. I have nothing but sympathy for julianne and Kym. sigh.

Just to clarify... I said I don't "get" Mark Ballas. I'm sure he's a nice guy; he actually seems a bit shy, but maybe that was just in contrast to Sabrina. They were on the show six weeks, so we got to see lots of them. As mntme said, he just doesn't "float my boat". I'm just not attracted to his personality or looks. He didn't do anything "wrong". He's obviously a good dancer, but I like some of the other men better, like Louis and Derek and Jonathan. However, there is clearly some subjectivity. Most of us judge not just on performance but also personality and yes, looks. And, as much as we're supposed to vote for the stars, the pros figure into the mix A LOT. At least for me. Well, maybe this didn't help clarify anything. Or maybe it clarified but we just have different perspectives. It's all good.

On a different note, I am REALLY sorry to hear the horrible things Adam has said on his show. I suspected he wasn't a knight in shining armor, but I didn't have any details. I can't believe what he said. It's just idiotic. And not remotely funny. I am really sorry for Julianne. Why did they pair them? I'm sure they don't want her to win a third time, and they do mix around the pros with varying types of stars, but this just seems a cruel choice for Julianne... really for any young woman. Ugh.

Is it just me, or do all the celebs seem to be over 30 this time? (I'm not trying to be ageist... I'm over 30) I just wondered why they don't have a couple younger people like previous seasons.

Julianne's chances of going deep into the competition due to the unfortunate partnering just might provide her an opportunity to do a guest dance with Apolo. I think there is a reasonably good chance that Apolo will be there once or twice to support her, I think he might have wanted to stay out of the limelight so as not to overshadow Helio. Can she possibly have fun with this Adam guy? Poor Julianne, she didn't look very happy at their meeting either. Oh well, she is a big girl.

OMG, poor Kim, she doesn't deserve the card she was dealt either!

Still, looking forward to the competition this year. I will enjoy watching the dynamics of how Julianne copes with Adam for as long as she is on and can't wait for more Derek. Still think Kristi would have been best with Derek.

As for younger people, maybe they just couldn't get anyone. It is such a time commitment for busy celebs...

Sorry, Lisam and Maricorgi! It's just my opinion, based on what I've seen of him on TV. To me, that's how he comes across. Perhaps I would change my mind if I met him in person.

On the other hand, I DO like Derek!

Did anyone watch Oprah today? She had all the champions dance with their partners, of course except for Apolo. All they showed was a 10 second clip of him and Julianne dancing. I thought maybe at least Apolo could of been there via satellite for a few mins. But oh well, it was a fun show anyways. I thought it was so nice of Derek to surprise and teach that lady, how lucky she is! It was interesting to see the new celebs but I missed some of it cuz I was on the phone but dang that Penn guy and football player are tall! Its going to be an interesting season thats for sure!
