There are 2 back-to-back shows.

The 8:00 show is a retrospective of the past 5 seasons and will show the top 10 dances. I would be agog if they were live...I would imagine that they would be showing the tapes of the dances and perhaps the whole first hour was pre-taped. I would expect to see Apolo as a top-ten contender, but who knows? Again, they are snippets from passed shows.

At 9:00 the LLLIIIIVVVVVEEEEE show begins and follows the regular results show format. Apolo and others will be showing up for this show and this is when Apolo will do the danace with Julianne to Rascal Flatts.

i was just looking at a promo for dwts and over 30 alumni stars are going to appear tonight.so im wondering if apolo and julianne are gonna perform alone or perform with other couples to the same song?cause its a 1 hour show and im still wondering how their gonna fit all those celebritys and still eliminate one couple..hmm?

I was kinda wondering that too, aofreak. (I like your AO pic, btw!)My guess is that A & J will dance, then M & M will to the other song, they'll have the cute little kiddies dance and then the elimination?!? I think the other stars will be there, just not performing. I have no idea, guess we'll have to watch and see!!!

Top 10 dances, The best of best; these were advertised by Tom Bergeron as all perfect score dances. The judges introduced each dance; after the dance you heard the judges comments from that evening of the dance; then it cut to the confessional to hear the comments that evening.



#10 Kelly Monaco, Alec “Let’s Get Loud”
Kelly Monaco, only woman winner, shows how far a person can come.
Performance of the whole season; they were in tuxes; must have been finals
Perfect 30

#9 Sabrina and Mark doing paso doble; Shock of season 5 ; early elimination; musicality, firey-ness and character

#8 Emmet Smith and Cheryl Burke; cha-cha, “Dance to the Music”; Emmett wasn’t the most technical but the most macho, charismatic; exuded charm;

#7 Apolo/Julianne, 2nd quickstep, “Mr. Pinstripe Suite”; the star of season 4; this dance showed the complete package; the hold, posture, contact. Julianne made sure it was all there…

#6 Joey and Kim; jive; ultimate showman; always had fun, fun fun; he and Kim were in the element for this jive; watch as he takes control of the room;

#5 Helio/Julianne: No list would be completed without Helio; how can we forget banana man in the yellow outfit; that fantastic quickstep has to be seen again.; “Hey, Pachuco!”

#4 Drew and Cheryl, freestyle, “Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy”
Iconic dance of the series and fan favorite; never seen anything like it since;

#3 Stacey Kiebler/Toni Dovolani, “La Vida Loca”;; sexiest samba; great hip action; legs for days; but she was also one of the most talented dancers; a weapon of mass seduction

#2 Mel/Maks, paso; “Free your Mind”; this woman rocked the dance floor like no other; paso normally the man’s dance, but this time Mel took the floor with passion; truly unforgettable;

(Tom Bergeron: what have the judges picked as their favorite dance of the first 5 seasons? Stay tuned!) and at this point I’m wondering if they will pick Apolo for another dance…paso? Samba? Freestyle? He would be the only person to have more than 1 dance in the top ten…who will it be?......

Such great fun watching some of these..
No easy task to come up with #1; the best performance ever;

Apolo and Julianne's dance:
I'm screaming inside. He looked stunning, and Julianne looked like her young sweet self again. It was so romantic. Aahh! That'll be on youtube before the night is out! Apolo didn't look quite as smooth as usual -- a little out of dance practice, and they probably hadn't practiced it with the band. But it was still amazing, and the lifts and tricks were fantastic. I can't say enough good things. He just -- rocks.

ah what can I say. He's darling! Julianne is so flexable. They are such a good couple, while dancing.

And Apolo wants Kristi to win. I think he MIGHT be right.

OMG!Apolo look so gorgous and beautiful..you could tell he was so nervous though.it look like he was thinking he was gonna mess up or something.I felt so bad in sum parts of their dance that i wanted to jump in my televison and save him..I love julianne also but she was moving to fast for him..was it me or did his booty get bigger??anyway he still amazing:),i was looking foward to seeing helio live also:(

I think this is my new favorite dance of theirs! I was soooo nervous, and I don't even know why. LOL

I was kinda little disappointed about the technique side of it. The dance was a little awkward in some parts, but what do expect after not dancing 12 hours everyday for 3 months in what, a year? But who cares! He looked amazing! I wonder what they would've got if they had been scored.

(I think he was wearing his Prada shoes)

I personally believe that the suit he was wearing make the dance look a little awkward, maybe it was hard for him to move around with it on. The suit just was not flattering to him at all.
