Gossip time: Did anyone catch Shannon's comment in their pre-package about Derek being irritating and he might go home alone that night? "Young people" may not call it dating these days, but there's no doubt in my mind that they're very involved. I'm not sure, though, why they're denying it when asked directly, yet revealing it in their other interactions. I definitely caught that comment by Shannon. Why would she even say something like that in front of the camera when they deny having a relationship every time someone comes right out and asks them about it? The results should be interesting tonight. I think Shannon's awkward dancing last night and their meltdown last week may have caused some major damage.

I didn't get to watch all of it last night, so this morning I went on rickey.org and watched all the dances but I didn't get to see the judges comments or scoring. But from what I've read here, Kristi is in second place and Jason is in first, Len made some bad comments about Kristi and Mark's cha-cha (which I don't understand this because it was so good). I'm thinking they scored Jason a little higher because Kristi has always been first and wanted someone else to take the lead. I know that at this time in the competition, no one is safe, so I only voted for my fav Kristi.
I feel bad for Christian, he has been improving a lot, not one of my favs but I hope his arm gets better. I felt bad for Mario too having to also learn a dance for his new video, poor guy was stressing so bad but I thought he did really well. Marissa has also been improving but I'm still not enjoying her dances that much. I think I enjoy Christian more than her.
Shannon, Shannon, Shannon...girl you need to watch what you say in front of the camera. I caught that little comment too about Derek going home alone. I've always thought she looked awkward with Derek because she's a little taller than him. And she still moves a little stiff when she dances, honestly I really didn't enjoy her dances last night but Derek...hot!

Mario Lopez and Dancing with the Stars pro dancer Karina Smirnoff have recently split, a source confirms to PEOPLE.
The couple, who met during Dancing’s third season, never publicly acknowledged their relationship despite the fact that the pair were living together in Lopez’s Los Angeles home. A source tells PEOPLE Smirnoff is moving out of Lopez’s digs.
Lopez’s personal rep, Lisa Perkins, says, “It’s my policy to not comment on my client’s personal life.”
Smirnoff, who is now competing on Dancing’s sixth season with R&B star Mario, has been spotted recently with E! Entertainment personality Michael Yo. The two were seen dancing and canoodling at a recent event at Hollywood eatery Beso.
Lopez, meanwhile, is starring in A Chorus Line on Broadway, and recently returned to the ballroom with 18 Chorus Line dancers to tape a synchronized number to air on Dancing’s 100th episode on May 6. He’s also about to embark on a national tour to promote his upcoming book, Mario Lopez’s Knockout Fitness.A little sad but not that surprising, he has a hard time keeping girlfriends. But he's hot and I loved him third season, I thought he should of won. I'm looking forward to seeing him next week. The thought of him on Broadway...I didn't know he could sing, or maybe he's not singing.

blogs.orlandosentinel.com/entertainment_tv_tvblog/2008/04/orlandos-joey-f.htmlOrlando's Joey Fatone to return as "Dancing With the Stars" marks 100th episode; other guests include Apolo Anton Ohno, Mel B.Posted on Apr 29, 2008 3:37:51 PM "Dancing With the Stars" will throw itself a big celebration next week as it marks its 100th episode. Orlando's Joey Fatone will return for the spectacular at 9 p.m. May 6 on ABC. The guest list also includes Jane Seymour, "Cheetah Girl" Sabrina Bryan, Jerry Rice, Wayne Newton and Jerry Springer. Season four champs Apolo Anton Ohno and Julianne Hough will perform. So, too, will season five finalists Mel B. and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. And haven't you missed him this season? Mario Lopez and the cast of Broadway's "A Chorus Line" will dance, too. But it won't all be fun: The eighth couple will be eliminated. How lucky is ABC to have "Dancing," its highest-rated show this season? I think Steve McPherson, the network's president of entertainment, understands. "We are so fortunate to be the home of 'Dancing With the Stars,'" he said in a statement. "It's a unique show that demonstrates family viewing and appointment television are alive and well, and we look forward to many more successful seasons." Disney stockholders do, too.

Cheryl said on "Inside Edition" that when she went into her backbend (in which Cristian supports her with both arms,) that she heard something "crack" in his left arm. He left the hospital after two hours, though -- perhaps he has torn soft tissue? I think that the scores for his samba were fair, however -- I found it lackluster even before his injury. I think it's his turn to go home. I thought that Marissa's tango was overscored. Who would you rather watch tango, Marissa or Apolo? I rest my case.

The hit ABC reality series celebrates 100 episodes.
"Dancing with the Stars" turns 100 on Tuesday, May 6, and the show will celebrate with the return of several of its alum. Season four champs APOLO ANTON OHNO and JULIANNE HOUGH will perform an all-new dance, as will season five finalists MEL B. and MAKSIM CHMERKOVSKIY.
Also returning is MARIO LOPEZ, who will perform a number from his Broadway show, "Macy's Stars of Dance" Presents A Chorus Line.
"It's such an honor to reach our 100th show still going strong," said executive producer CONRAD GREEN. "It's been great to bring dancing back to primetime with a family-friendly show. Our 100th celebration will bring back many of our favorite past stars for new performances, and is one of the most exciting and ambitious results shows we've ever made."
Other stars joining the celebration include SABRINA BRYAN, JOEY FATONE, MASTER P., JERRY RICE, JANE SEYMOUR, JERRY SPRINGER and WAYNE NEWTON, to name a few.
"Dancing with the Stars"' 100th episode airs Tuesday, May 6 at 8 p.m., and will also feature some of the show's most memorable moments. Then the eighth couple will be eliminated.
