Thanks for the link to her new song! I only heard part of it on her myspace, so its nice to hear the whole thing. I think its a pretty good song, its fun and a good choice as her first single. |

Hey, Guest and Susie, thanks for the links! I enjoyed Julianne's song. There's a certain edge to her voice that does sound country, like Reba, and she has a pleasing tone. (Of course, what do I know? I'm no musician!) The posted comments at Universal's site were mostly positive, though one said Julianne is no Reba! I think it's a young song with a teen theme, which fits since she's only 19, right? I think her content and her voice will mature in the next few years, and she'll have a nice following. I really wish her the best.  As for Adam Carolla, I can see why they'd want a comedian on the show, and he does seem nice on the brief video of their meeting. He is in an appropriate age range for her. Adam is definitely not an athlete, however! It will be interesting to see if he can keep up with her, and if she can choreograph despite possible athletic weaknesses. She said Apolo's legs were too big (for dancing anyway  ), and Helio's legs weren't strong enough though his frame was good. I wonder what the verdict will be for Adam? |

I do not like her hair long-long at all. She looked the best with her hair no longer than shoulder length. It overpowers her and she is too cute for all that hair. I don't like it on her MySpace either. I liked the fresh look best, but alas, that doesn't seem to be what she is going for. I will be surprised if she rises to the top as a singer, I wonder if she can act? Based on what I see here, I don't think she will be the champ this year. JMO. |

But she's young and maybe in some way I'm jealous of that beautiful figure.  |

Julianne to tour with Brad Paisley
Brad Paisley recently announced that Julianne Hough will join him on his 2008 tour - "Hershey’s Presents The Paisley Party". Julianne will be joining Jewel and Chick Wicks on the tour. "The Paisley Party" is scheduled to kick off the 42-date tour on June 11 in Albuquerque, NM.
