I loved the song, Lexi - that's one of my favorite 'styles' of music - the Coldplay/Keane/Snow Patrol/Radiohead genre. My crap computer froze at the 2:54 mark, but I liked what I heard. The lyrics 'DOWN' in Heaven were a bit unique...don't know what to make of that - my Christian upbringing tells me that Heaven is 'up', but overall I liked the song, and I added it to my ITunes wish list... If you like that style, check out a group called Thirteen Senses. I tend to gravitate toward music I hear on TV shows (Grey's Anatomy, Numb3rs, CSI, etc). I don't regularly watch the shows, but I love to check out their music selections online, 'cause they're usually good... While I'm at it, I'll contribute to the thread...the most recent song on my IPod was 'Funeral for a Friend' - Elton John; Next up: "All I Wanna Do" - Sheryl Crow... |

Thanks Lori and Hanson for your feedback. I appreciate you both taking a listen.  Kalan was our 2nd Canadian Idol and, like DWTS, I never watched the show before him and I find it difficult to watch since. He really set the standard. He enjoyed a lot of success in Canada following his win and then literally disappeared a year later after his Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. He pretty much told BMG his priority was to be there for his Mom and he needed to leave the industry for awhile. He packed up and moved from Toronto back home to Alberta for a year and a half. BMG had so much respect for him leaving when his career was taking off that they told him to come back when he was ready and they’d still be there. They kept to their word…he’s just returned with a new album. This is the first single. These are a few of his greatest moments on Canadian Idol and on tour.
