'High Noon' by Nora Roberts I love her characters. Mars, I have the same dream over and over, I hate it. Odd ones, vivid ones...

(It's weird to have dreams about Jeff Gordon when I don't even follow Nascar :eyeroll: but I digress!) Kathy Reichs - Bones to Ashes.

Mighty Mites, by Jim Dent. It's a true story about the depression era boys and girls who came to the Masonic Home in Fort Worth, Tx following the death of their fathers. The stories of how the fathers die are, well, very interesting. But the stories of the boys who become the most rag-tag football team in Texas history is truly amazing. At a time when the world was following Seabiscuit this little football team was getting as much attention. They came close to the state championship 3 times. The last chapter does a follow up on their lives as men. It's a quick read, but I'd buy it at half-price bookstore before paying hardback prices.
Just started reading--on recommendation from a high school Honors English teacher--Rhett Butler's People. She read the Scarlett O'hara f/up, and didn't feel it hit the mark. She says Rhett's side of the GWTW saga is a tribute to Margaret Mitchell's original novel.
On my list of things to read: Lone Survivor--story of the Navy Seals. With the recent happenings in Somalia this book, even in paperback is tough to find. Shack--story written by a man whose daughter was murdered--that part is true. He receives a letter from God to come to the Shack. There the author meets.......you'll have to read it to find out.
And of course--Nelson DeMille--Nigh Fall. Thanks to justsayin for this little addiction.
That's about it for now. This list should get me through the end of May/June.

I'm reading "New Moon" from the Twilight Saga...Love it!! lmao, figures you'd b reading one of those books, lmao. I've read them all just last year when I was forced to do so....curiosity killed the cat. I cant say they're my favourite but, they are quite good. The writer has one good imagination. I cant say I like New Moon at all. I got scared when I got to the chapter after the one called "the end". I was very sad and went online to read all the spoilers I could read. I didnt care that I was going to know the ending to it all before I read. All I wanted to know was if Edward was back. After I read the information I had searched for, I exhaled and continued reading. Very childish of me actually being that I am soooo old to be reading this sort of material. My favourite has got to be Eclipse hands down. I love the action part of it as well as the escalation of their romance. Nice one. On the other hand, the bloke playing Edward in the film is nothing but crap to me. I think he really effed up the first film which I only saw half of and online due to it being completely missing the entire lovely aspect of twilight. In short, the film makers fvcked it up big time. The chick playing Bella looked aghast and kept twitching and all that and the dumba$$ guy kept making this bloody moronic faces. However aofreak, I am sure he's quite lovely.....etc,etc........enjoy girlie. Right now, am reading HP: the half blood price again so that am fresh for when the film comes out.
