Life cna be depressing and sometimes people can make their life more depressing. But never rule out the fact that there are some people in the world that do not have the good times that are going on in your life to cause them to be extremely happy. Sometimes people have problems that causes them to become depressed and their problems are much harder to solve than a simple smile or positive remark can give them. So yes life can be depressing. Life can be downright brutal

Life could be very depressing, but whenever i think about terrible things going on in the world, I think about the good things we still have. Imagine, we were born in the time of Apolo and plus, nothing beats cheese pizza.
lets not forget about those bruskies, Delirium Nocturnum, my favourite.

That's why it's important not to ignore people or be mean to them. You never know what is going on in their lives, or where they are coming from

People always get mad or upset with me because I'm always happy. I can't help being always happy. What am I doing wrong?

I simple tell them to f*** themselves id they are being mean to me. dont pay attention to that. everyone's different. not everyone has the same atitude towards certain things. perhaps thats just how they are. maybe they happen to be very fun once you get to know them. then again some others are just very private persons. either way, just be yourself and everything else will fall into place

I don't fell that life itself is depressing, but rather events in life. It also varies from person to person, for someone in etheopia, having food to feed their families is the best feeling in the world, but in america, just having enough food to feed our families is depressing. I am not saying that possesions make us happy, but I feel that it does effect us. A person with very little money and very few things to call their own could be the happiest person in the world because they expierence the small pleasures of life first hand but a person with tons of money, private jets, several houses and tons of people working for them could be depressed because although they have everything money can buy, they don't have the small things. But even then that isn't everything. sometimes people without money are depressed because they cannot provide for their families and people who have everything are extremley happy because they have what sastifies them. So I believe that life is not depressing. What you make of life and your options and oppertunities can contribute to your happiness. Then, there are people who have a horrific event happen and they can do nothing but be depressed. I went through depression after my parents divorce, I was happy they were getting divorced, but everything that my father did to me just got me down. There are also people who have a chemical imbalance in the brain and cannot help but be depressed. Okay, that was my long winded input on the subject.

To me, mostly is your friends and family that make it depressing. Other than that, it could just be your own problems hehe.

If they are truly your friends, they would do everything in their power to make sure that you are happy.

I say no, life is not depressing, it's all just a big game. And there's a very significant ratio in effect in the game of life:
Life can only reach around and bite you in the ass to the degree that you don't take responsibility for it.
It's like this: if you are driving a car and you become momentarily distracted while switching the radio station, you run the risk of bumping into something during that moment when you are not taking full responsibility for driving the car. If you fall asleep at the wheel, there's a high likelyhood that you'll get into a serious accident. That's the ratio at work.
