I say no, life is not depressing, it's all just a big game. And there's a very significant ratio in effect in the game of life:
Life can only reach around and bite you in the ass to the degree that you don't take responsibility for it. I agree that life itself is not depressing, however depressing events that have nothing to do with personal responsibility do affect people. For example, going through a serious illness or having a loved one die can certainly make one depressed. It is normal to be depressed while going through something that is personally difficult and people need to cope with these events in different ways. Don't let anyone tell you that there is something wrong with you or that you shouldn't be happy. You have a wonderful outlook on life. Life is wonderful, live it to its fullest. It is the way we look at life that can help us reach happiness even through horrific events. Will you use these experiences to become a stronger, happier person or will you wallow in self pity and depression. We all need to remember when dealing with others that they may well have good reason for their current outlook on life and we should be respectful of their feelings. |

Life is a beautyful thing and I think people take for granted! Some people just waste their life away. I love life too much to let it go to waste! Rich or poor I will always keep my head up and look at the bright side of everything I think in a way life is great if you work hard at it its only crappy if you don't work through it! Yes I had gone through a long depression when I lost my grandfather at a young age! But you know what I had to move on with my life! I thank God every moment of my life of how great my life is going for me right now! I believe in karma and if you do good thing good will come to you, but if you do evil to the world karma will eventually catch up with you!!! Thats my thought of the day!
