I watched it for the hundredth time! good movie though, did u know Orlando Bloom was in it? heheh i just found out Yep, I knew about OB being in it. He played PFC Todd Blackburn. In real life, he did break his back, but he was able to mend from it and go back to the Army as a Ranger. Talk about gusto!

Thank you for the welcome, Crimson Angel and Bellamusici! I'm sorry that I didn't introduce myself...I got the sudden irresistible urge to dive right in, lol. The same thing happened when met Apolo (at the mathmovesu event in the District)...did I say, "Hello Apolo, my name is Susie?" No I did not. Aauurgh. It was still heavenly, though, at least from my point of view. He probably thought I was a gauche idiot.
BTW, there were about a bazillion previews before "The DaVinci Code"...seriously. I thought that "Miami Vice" and "Casino Royale" looked like winners. Colin Farrell seems to be inspired casting in "Miami Vice". I'm not an Adam Sandler fan, but his new movie looked really funny. I love going out to the movies, and I go as often as I can.

Susie, tell your story about meeting Apolo in the "Apolo Encounters" part of the forum. I'd love to hear about it and I'm sure everyone else would love to hear about it, too!

Wait Miami Vice hasn't opened yet, has it??? I mean doesn't that come out in June??? Also, there are so many young actors in Black Hawk Down, and now that time has past, you will see alot of them that are now stars or at least up and coming successful actors! It's like watching Mallrats But yeah let's talk about some of the non-blockbuster movies coming out. The Adam Sandler movie should do okay, but I think that the Miami Vice movie might be another Jarhead, you know? Big actors in a okay movie, or a good movie, blah, blah.

Elle, you just liked Hayden Ruffian, they remade the TV show. Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx are playing Crockett and Tubbs

Well personally, Miami Vice was a staple in our house every Friday night. I think that people may want to see it, but they haven't hyped it up just yet... I mean also so many things have happened that things might overshadow the hype. Like people protesting The DaVinci Code, the Tom effect , and now the previews starting up for X-Men. We will see if Miami Vice gets more hype.

No, Crimson, "Miami Vice" hasn't come out yet. They were showing previews as far ahead as November. I guess they wanted to take advantage of the huge audiences expected for DVC.
"Black Hawk Down" was such a good movie...but painful to watch.

Colin Farrel makes me nauseated. And Jamie? Downgrade. He should be doing better quality consider he's an Oscar winner now.
Is that Anna Paquin in X-men? Blast from the past, lol.

I'm so sick of jamie foxx... it seems like he was in every movie last year, won every award, and was on the radio 24/7. I love Colin, though (sex tape or not) so I will probably see it.
I find it hard to see Adam Sandler movies where he is playing a dad... I still see him as Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore... not as a responsible human being.

On a personal level, Colin Farrell rubs me the wrong way -- but I can appreciate his acting skills in spite of that.
