today @ work, I saw my coworker in costume for the X-Men movie premiere. He looked so wicked.

Colin Farrel makes me nauseated. And Jamie? Downgrade. He should be doing better quality consider he's an Oscar winner now. Is that Anna Paquin in X-men? Blast from the past, lol. Yep, that's the lovely Anna Paquin playing Rogue. I adored her in The Piano and Fly Away Home, and she was one of the reasons why I watched X-Men to begin with. I never paid any attention to the comics or cartoons before. I only knew of Wolverine from the comics, but only by word of mouth. So, when I got to see the first X-Men, I wasn't plagued by this "That's not how it is in the comics". I guess it's the perks of watching a movie before I read the book. Well, I'm all ready for this Friday for some mutant power. Besides Wolverine and Rogue, I am also a fan of Pyro and Magneto (played by the ever so great Ian McKellan) and I also think Shadowcat, Colosus, Mystique and Nightcrawler are cool too! |

I got Shadowcat, Pryo and Rogue in my siggy!!! Along with Iceman!!!
But yeah I was and is a fan of the cartoons, which also stayed to the books, so if you read the comics, but were into the cartoons then you can keep up as well.
That's how I knew who Nightcrawler and Shadowcat were in the first and second movie, they were very active after the first season of the cartoons!

I thought Shadowcat was played really wickedly in X2! The way she got away from Stryker's military was like, so cool! I look forward to her in the next installment!
Now, if only if I can see Rogue show all that she is worth. After all the times Wolverine has saved her, I'd love to see her pay him back likewise. Logan's and Marie's relationship I found to be the strongest part of the series, and i hope they keep it up in the third one.
PS. Any X-Men fans. Did you see the new tv commercial where Logan is seen grabbing a girl by the hair and telling her that he wants her back the way she was? Who was that girl, I only saw it in the corner of my eye and couldn't tell if it was Rogue or The Pheonix.

Yes, in this movie, Shadowcat is played by another actress, she's in my siggy. She is the 3rd actress to play Kitty Pride, and if you want spoilers we either have to go to the other X-Men board or PM me  |

Yep, Shadowcat is being played by another actress for the third time now. But it's all cool. I just like how she is a quick thinker and has excellent defensive mechanisms!

i love XMen.....they're so cool mutants....i love Storm and Rogue....i also love Cyclops.....such a handsome guy....his name is JAmes Marsden, right? can't wait for the lastest movie

James Marsden will also be in Superman this summer. He will be playing Lois Lane's boyfriend.
That's why you won't see him in this years X-Men 3 that much.

No. Sorry. No Gambit. There is rumors that the 4th installment will have him though, and they are trying to get Lost star Josh Holloway to star as him.

I thought there wasnt going to be a 4th movie. This one is called "The Last Stand"...
...I think they are going to do a Wolverine flick, but no 4th X-men... but don't quote me on that.

I saw Da Vinci code tody and here are my thoughts:
1. The movie was alright. It wasn't going to live up to my expectations and it was fine.
2. Tom Hanks was so wrong for that role it was ridiculous. I seriously chuckled at everything he said. Has he stopped being able to act? WTF?
3. No chemistry between Tom and the girl. None. Chalk and cheese.
4. If paul wasn't playin' an albino...I'd totally hit that. Who saw that spanish accent coming?
5. Teabing was crazy cool.

According to the official Fox studios, this is the end of one trilogy and a new set of trilogy is in the works. They already said though that the X-Men franchise is far from over, it's too popular and successful to end it.
And I cant wait for the Wolverine spinoff. I heat my favorite Rogue will have quite the cameos in it as well. I think it will be some sort of prequel to the Wolverine we know now.

yeah I heard that there will be a prequel about Wovie as well. I mean a couple of years ago, it was all about having trilogys.
Now it's all about the prequel, and they seem successful, the Star Wars prequels, Smallville TV show, and a couple of others have been successful as prequels. I mean even the TV show lost is successful due in part to the flashback sequences. All in all, people want to know how did a character become who they are right then.

well in the book, Ton Hanks character and the girl are not intimate nor do they like eachother. so in that sense they stayed true to the story.
wot u said a bout paul Bettany was great. then u could always close your eyes you know?
