Well, here it is, ladies: My new vampire fic, 'Midnight Passion'.....
Chapter 1: The Deadly Kiss Of Fate
I had just got home from what seemed to be a really heavy set of partying. Just as I was about to lay down on my black leather sofa and watch TV, Apolo shows up.
"Shoot, Artemis! You wore yourself out, didn't you?" Apolo said.
"Yes, I did. What time did you get home, Apolo?" I said.
"I got home about 5 hours ago. It turns out that ally wanted to go back to her mom and broke up with me and told me if I wanted to be with you, then I could. At least I'm free to do whatever I want to with you." Apolo said as he slowly kisses my neck.
I didn't know what came over him, but I liked it. " Why did you leave ally? She loved you, man!"
"She cheated on me with your ex-boyfriend Orlando Bloom. That evil Brit is gonna get it one of these days! Just wait until I see him! I'll get him yet for what he did to me, you and Julianne!" he said in an evil tone and glared at me with his deep hazel eyes.
"Whoa! Orlando didn't do anything wrong! Just calm down and don't worry about ally. She's a big girl and she can take of herself. Whoever she dates is none of our business. Just focus on me. I'm the faithful one, I never strayed away from you and I never will, my dark angel." I said, seductively.
The next thing I knew, he had put me in a hypnotic seductive trance.
"I am relieved that you stayed with me all this time and to tell you the truth, I wanted to leave her anyway and be with you forever. Just promise me one thing, Artemis." Apolo said.
"And what pray tell is it that you want me to promise you?" I asked while under the trance.
"Promise me that you will never again go back to that evil snake in the grass Phil Ritchie. He may be mysterious, but I'm WAY better looking than he'll ever be." Apolo said with an evil gleam in his eyes.
"OK, I promise. I was gonna break it off with him anyway." I said.
A few minutes later, he bites me on the neck and I felt my soul being drained away.
"Now, you're a part of me, Artemis. Mine for all of eternity, just like I'm all yours for all eternity. I seal my fate in your blood and you sealed your fate in mine. Rest now, my love. I'll return later to check on you." Apolo said in a sensual tone.

I guess I take inspiration from ALL of the vampire movies I've seen, including 'Queen Of The d**ned' and read so much vampire stuff.

"Uh-oh, it's from Phil. I wonder what he's up to this time?" I said. Artemis,
How are things? I am miserable without you. I do regret those things I did to you & I want you back desperately! I bet that you're still with that no-good weasel Apolo, aren't you? I can't say that I blame him for scoring a beautiful woman such as yourself. I am thinking of coming to New York soon. Do you must do w/ Apolo, because possibly afterward, you'll want me back. I will await you, my New York angel!

P.S. Apolo has no chance in hell against me."Oh no! He's coming to New York. What in the hell am I gonna do?" I said in a panic. "Don't worry, I'll make sure that he doesn't see you until Apolo leaves." Julianne said. "OK. Thank you so much, Julianne. You're a lifesaver." I said. Just as I read the letter, Apolo comes in with a couple of friends with their cigars with them. "Artemis, I'd like for you to meet a couple of friends of mine. The one with the AC/DC shirt is Butch. He's quite a joker, especially to the ladies. The one with the Ozzy Osbourne shirt on is Nathan. He's a flirt, so watch what you say and do around him. Anyway, what do you got there?" Apolo said. "Well, it's a letter from my ex-boyfriend Phil. It seems that he wants me back and he's coming to New York and I'm terrified of him right now. What am I gonna do?" I said. "I knew that snake in the grass would have the nerve to show up here. Don't worry, I'll make sure that he never sees you again." Apolo said. A few days later, there was a festival going on and the theme of the festival was 'A Parisian Embrace'. Dario G.'s 'Carnaval de Paris' was playing in the background and Apolo was dressed in a typical goth ensemble and so was I. Just as I was about to kiss Apolo, Phil shows up with Apolo's ex-girlfriend Ally. "What in the heck are you doing here, Phil? Artemis does not love you anymore and I see that you brought ally with you. Real classy, slick. If I wasn't so wasted right now, I would totally kick your a**." Apolo said with an angry look in his eyes. "Well, at least ONE of us had the nerve of even bothering to show up in the first place and I see that you have Artemis with you. I should've known that she'd leave me to go out with a no-good, idiotic snake in the grass snitch like you." Phil said. "Oh lord, I knew it. Those two are at it again. Come on, Artemis. Let these 2 blow some steam at each other." Julianne said. "Well, I guess I deserve a girls night out." Artemis said. Me, Ally and Julianne left Phil and Apolo behind to try to work things out between each other and a few minutes later, I heard a lot of fighting words flying out and I turned around and it was Phil and Apolo, literally trying to kill each other. At the same time, I took out my dagger and charged right at Phil and almost knocking him to the ground. "What in the heck? Artemis is actually trying to save Apolo from getting killed and she's risking her own life because of it." Julianne said. "I know, and I think that it's extremely romantic when someone that you love risks their life to save yours." ally said. "I should've known that you'd risk everything for this idiot Apolo. You could've had everything: fame, fortune and all of the finest things ANY woman could ever possibly dream of and you just risked it all just for Apolo!?!?!? That's it, I should've never left Ocean City! We are SO history. I'm outta here." Phil said, all ticked off. "Whoa! You risked it just for me? Now, that's the most heroic thing you've ever done for me, Artemis." Apolo said. I looked down and I was bleeding major. Let's just say that when me and Apolo got home, I was almost deathly-ill. (END OF CHAPTER 2) |

A few minutes later, I fell asleep and Apolo comes in and he softly kisses me on the cheek. "Hmm? Oh, hey Apolo." I said, half-asleep. "How are you feeling, princess?" Apolo asked. "Tired, but I'm starting to feel better, though. I wonder what in the heck caused me to feel so sick." I said. "I think I know what it was. It was from the poison in Phil's dagger when he tried to kill you, but luckily, it didn't have much effect on you, so I made sure that no one disturbed you. All I want right now is for you to get better." Apolo said. (Sorry I had to do that. That's part 1, part 2's coming this afternoon) |

"Are you sure, Apolo? I'll be fine, I promise you." I said.
"You need to rest, Artemis. You've had quite a day today. I'll go turn down my bed for ya and I'll join ya in a little while, ok, princess?" Apolo said.
"I'd like that very much, Apolo. Thanks." I said.
He went into his room and turned down his bed for me. Meanwhile, Julianne and Ally came over to check on me and see how I was doing.
"Are ya feeling OK now, Artemis? You gave us quite a scare there, girl!" Julianne said.
"Yeah, I noticed that you're not feeling well, so I thought I'd bring ya something from the festival and yes, everyone was worried about you and don't worry about Phil. He was just jealous of Apolo, but you did the right thing and risked your life to save Apolo's and that is brave on your part. You just take it easy and we'll handle everything for you." Ally said.
"Aw, thanks Ally." I said.
Apolo came in and carried me to his room and I soon fell asleep and he gently kissed me on the cheek.
The next morning, I woke up to find Apolo and his friends watching an NFL football game on TV and Apolo turned around and saw me moving around and came toward me.
"What are you doing up, Princess? You were supposed to be resting." Apolo said.
"I know, but I was wanting to be with you, if that's OK with you and your friends." I said.
"Sure, why not? I suppose you do look better than yesterday. We were just watching some NFL and the boys wanted to know if you'd like to join us." Apolo said.
"Heck yeah! A day with you and the boys is bliss to me!" I said.
"OK, I get your point. Get yourself nice and pretty and I'll save ya a spot next to me on the couch." Apolo said.
"OK." I said.
Later that night, I was fully recovered from the previous night's massacre. I had a really sexy red and black nightgown with the side that splits. Apolo was shirtless and that 6-pack of his had caught my eye. He looked right at me with the most seductive gleam in his eye and I knew right then, I was about to get lucky.
Let's just say that things got REALLY steamy and I once again fell asleep, but this time I had a smile on my face from the nearly leathal kiss from Apolo and something in me changed. I was finally an undead, a vampire and I knew for once, I was Apolo's for all of eternity.
