Lori and Skaterswaltz, thanks for the recaps of your Apolo encounters! It's always great to hear any little tidbits about Apolo and he sounds like he's truly a special person, so patient and gracious.
The pics are great too. Mmmm, butt shot. And in that particular picture, do I detect a lipstick mark right near his ear? I wonder who was able to give him that? Lucky girl, whoever it was!

Lori, Lori, Lori! Yay!  You sound like you had such a fulfilling experience! I am so very happy for you and the other girls who were fortunate to meet him... especially for their/your first time. There's nothing like the first time... except the second!  Is anyone else having trouble seeing the first three pictures like me? I am so anxious! Can someone please repost them or pm them to me if I'm the only one having probs? Oh, I can't stand it!  Thank you to whomever my heroine wil be!  ETA: I got them safe and sound, I can breathe now!  I still can't see them....   Thank you for sharing your wonderful experiences with us ladies! Living vicariously thru the internet...  |

Anyone catch his shoes as he walked across the stage while being introduced?
COuldn't figure out what he was wearing...lots of white...

Lori, thank you so much for posting your experience here for us all to read. I am so happy you got to have your picture taken with Apolo, even if it took a bit of patience!

I was reading back on the "NEW GA Message to Apolo - San Diego" thread, and I saw one of my earlier posts, which said... You've heard of the Ohno Force Field (OFF)? The phenomenon that renders cameras inoperative and women mute?...Did I friggin' call this, or WHAT? (or maybe more likely I 'jinxed myself'!) Somebody on OZ commented that the OFF is not an urban legend, and I'm here to testify to it! |

I love your photos, Skaterswaltz! Apolo looks good coming or going, doesn't he? And he has such a beautiful, happy smile. The lipstick by his ear is too cute. It's a wonder he's not covered in lipstick!
I did recognize the shoes. He looked really nice at the event.

I just remembered .... while I was standing there in my haze within the "ohno zone" last Saturday night, I heard someone next to me talking about her friend that kissed him when she went up and met him! So I bet that's the lipstick mark you see on his cheek in that picture I "accidentally" took from behind. (I just don't know what came over me). |
