(MODIFY) First things first, what's in a name?.... But I'm a little more partial to "Go to the Start". I think anyone who has gone to the competitions has a warm spot for this phrase because we heard it non-stop for three days...... Gives me the warm fuzzies every time. Mtnme... I get that same feeling, hearing those words! I can still visualize the skaters, gliding up to the 'start line'! Therefore, I'm also partial to "Go to the Start", plain and simple...JMHO

Everyone has such amazing ideas! And thanks to Lori and Michelle for answering the hard questions that I can't lol. As for the title of the site, Go to the STart is catching but as for a domain, it maybe too long, www.gotothestart.com <--that was the domain for Noelle's old blog site and is more associated with almost anything relating to track as well, even running as they all have starts. Plus the world *fund* isn't in the name. Adding the word in the domain name is key because its clear cut as to what you are visiting. www.therockerfund.com is to the point and it has a *tongue and cheek* title that the skaters and their families will understand at the same time, it's like a ROCKSTAR sort of title too and people will question it and want to do research as to what a rocker is and learn about short-track. I'm going to work on a logo to night !

I see. Well, can we please keep the county bumpkin colloquialisms to a minimum? For those of us who speak English as a first language, they're really quite confusing. So I reckon you ain't hankerin' to chew the fat with us in Southern-speak? Shucks, we could'a learned ya' a passel o' yarns - I'd'a thunk you'd figger it to be a challenge. -------------------------- I'm losing track of the names that've been proposed. Anybody wanna summarize? I'll add a few more: Fans4Skaters (or a variation, Fans4Sk8trs); ShareTheDream; Bucks4Boots; Bucks4Blades... ...can anybody get creative with ice chips, the Olympic Torch, skinsuits or the sign in the Oval: Light the Fire Within? EDIT: Wasn't Noelle's first blog 'unextraordinary.com'? I could be wrong...

EDIT: Wasn't Noelle's first blog 'unextraordinary.com'? I could be wrong... Unextraordinary.com was Todd's blog, who was the original owner of OZ and then passed to Noelle or they co-owned it. EDIThere is some links I found web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.go2thestart.com

Oz isn't using the names now, and since we will be getting Noelle on board with at least publishing what we want to do, it's all good. I'm waiting until we have all the kinks worked out before we approach her, as OZ is a 'tough crowd'! They show no mercy. (Kinda like Ruff, who is at least amusing while she's chewing you up and spitting you out! LOL) I'll try to get the name summary up when I get home. But if the live feed has started, I make no promises.

I don't come from a part of the country with any signature dialect or surely I'd parry this excellent thrust. Oh wait, can I interest you in some broken, disjointed English favored by newly-arrived Mexicans, mang? Yoo fil me, ese? Were Todd and Noelle together? Together together?

Shoot, OZ ain't tough. Bunch of marshmallow pies. She moderates the comments, what kind of panzy nonsense is that?! (Although if you're reading this, I love you Noelle. Wouldn't change a thing. Big kisses!!!! ) And really the only person who is over there and not over here is SusanG. And that girl (edited) can fall back. Insufferable. Oh and those poor confused dudes who sometimes post. It's like, are you lost man? This is a womens' site...and we don't want you or your jumbo paragraphs about technique.
