I have a dumb question here. Here goes. When the Olympics were just starting, they were doing a run down of all the popular athletes, and each athlete was accompanied with a background, catchy tune. Apolo had a catchy tune, but I don't know what the song is or who sings it, but I hear it on the radio all the time. All I know is that there is a guy that laughs alot at the end of the song, and I think the black guy from Black Eyed Peas does a little rap in it. Does anyone know the song and the artist? Please?  |

if u go to Ohnozone.net and their archives for 2004 or 2005 i forgot which year and just look trough the news...or u could go to video clips...the video is pretty cool..it doesn't show a lot of Apolo just some glimpses.

It's a popular song that debut this year, but everytime they play it, they never tell who the artist is. It is a pop song, and they had it playing in the background while they were doing a profile of Apolo on NBC, before he was to start racing for the 1500 qualifiers.

during the olympics they did a small segment of himn and his background and i heard a song by The White Stripes and on called FEEL GOOD INC. by Gorrilaz. and the song by thye Gorillaz has someone laghing at the end. i hope thats of some help. if it is the song by The Gorillaz is on there album Demon Days.

Thank you, Thank you, I think that's it. As stupid as it sounds, everytime I hear that song, I think of Apolo, like it's his theme song or something. The beat is so like his character, and I wanted to buy it, but I had no idea who sang it, so again, thank you. I've been asking everyone around me, and they look at me like a deer caught in the headlights, so I gave it a shot hoping someone watched the same segment as I did, and it looks like someone did! the name of the band is (i am not 100% sure) Flipsyde and the name of the song is "Someday" i think they're a hip/hop band. And Apolo likes listening to hip/hop soo ya the beat is definitely like something Apolo would listen to.

Flipsyde's "Someday" is the one that really makes me think of Apolo. NBC did a promo that used him quite a bit (but not enough of course). Oh he looked so fine in it. An earlier version of the promo had a little of his crash from 2002 in it too. And the lyrics inspire me and make me think of him.
