i meant here... some just come here who are obviously a part of that site and reprimand us or something. lol. i think enelyak got the "spanking" that time when she posted a comment here. was that you enelyak?

Oh..there is probably a good possibility of that. But this board allows discussion of different views, which make it unique. If they want to bash us, the the poor deluded twits are free to do so. We don't have to respond in kind and defend ourselves. We don't need defending. |

It seems negative because alot of the members are young teens who don't have the money to pay, so they are not able to view the live updates. Only paying members are able to view the live updates, so they feel excluded.
The thread is still there though, with a post saying it's not fair for commited members (the ones paying her) to be blocked while lurkers get to see the updates! Um, ok?
I did see a few posts from people objecting to paying in the bandana thread go *poof* in a matter of minutes! They are watching it like hawks!
I feel bad for the young ones who really don't have the money or will have to save up their allowance just to fork it over to her to see the threads.

they made the live updates for tomorrow's show, the last show of Apolo on the tour exclusive for rbs members. if you want the live update, pay. if not, you wait for the weekend. which kinda defeat the purpose for being "live". so teenagers are now complaining. one even joked of stealing her parents credit card! oh my goodness!

There is definitely something going on with the Administrator of Apolianne.com. She now tells everybody that if you do not shell out $25 to her, you will not be able to get any live updates from Atlantic City. One member refused to use PAY PAL due to prior past experience and asked to pay by check but she refused to give the member her name and address citing confidentiality and the member stated that trust is a two way street. The member was sending her a check with his name, address, bank account number. Still she refused. As usual the member's post was quickly deleted. I smell a scam. She is asking for money with total unaccountablity. The reporters are unpaid members of the board and are travelling and spending their own money and not the administrator's. Most of the work and content of that site are done by the members. I smell a rat...a BIG SWINDLING RAT...

Y'all are cracking me up!  This is very interesting news about them charging people now. It sounds like the person who is running the sight is trying to make a quick buck. I bet they lose a lot of members, hope they do so the site shuts down. LOL! And now they're banning people for speaking their mind?! Geez, how retarded! |

what do you consider committed Apolianne? Many of us have been here for a while. We try to contribute through updated photos, links...we try to help people load their photos and videos. We try to be creative and do the slideshow/art threads. Yet people who pay money have exclusive rights?
Instead of creating more members, you are deterring them from this special moment. I do what lovesmusic said and not post. I've been trying to be respectful..but this is not right and unfair. It makes many of us feel like we're 2nd class.
I don't even feel like contributing anymore...
