if it's true that apolo's gonna retire, i'll decide that he should try motor racing like F1.....from what i know he loves cars, right?....so why shouldn't he try motor racing like Scott Speed does ;D (i'm a die-hard fan of F1)

Ok, I'm trying to contribute the audio interview on KOST right now. It seems to be taking a long time to upload so I'm not sure it is going to happen.

Yes, I agree he sounds single. Apolo has told his dad his relationship with Allison was not serious. Yuki was worried that it would distract Apolo, so it sure sounds like it is a relationship of convienence.
Apolo is very interested in a social life and what he thinks he's missing, so I'm guessing he would love to date and party for a while. Especially in the Hollywood scene. It's very attractive to him it sounds. But then again, as involved in sports as he as been all his life, I would think he would get the itch to get back to sports.

I was once blasted big time for me saying this, even though I don't know what the big deal is, alot of star athletes have done it. But I once said I wouldn't be surprised to see him give his acting abilities a shot by doing cameos in some films and television programs. Like I said, many have done this, and I don't think it's anything for me to be shameful of saying, or Apolo for doing, if just for a little while.
I'd like to see him in a comedy or something, I think he'd have us all ROTFL!

I would love to see him try some movie roles! he's got the looks and I'd get to see more of him!
I was thinking that he might retire, because he's at his peak now and he said he was always looking for his perfect race. He got it at Torino and maybe any other race would pale in comparison. Maybe he would want to go out on top, KWIM?
I hope he finds it in him that he could do more!

i want to see him on 2010 winter olympics and after that he can do whatever he wants....actually torino is my first winter olympic so i'm quite new to speed skating ;D

I've always watched the Olympics, both the summer and the winter. The winter ones usually have the figure skating grabbing my attention, but while I was watching the profiles on the favorite American athletes, and I saw Apolo, I was like, hey, I remember him!
He and Michelle Kwan were the only ones I remember from the last Olympics, but in the end, Apolo became the most adored American Olympian after his great 500 performance.
