Bella, if you have any other thoughts or ideas about other Apolo parts with Disney referances PLEASE share. You pick the part although the Torso is a great start. Woohoo, that sounds like a challenge! So far we've exhausted the Mowgli and Peter Pan references, so the only thing left are the princes, mostly nameless hotties that sweep the famous pricesses off their feet, except for Aladin who is named and then there's the animal characters... I'll have to think on it a bit... Honey you take your sweet time! I'm sure its worth the wait... (Tarzan isn't as classic as Peter Pan and Mowgli but he does have a rockin body) Did I just write that about a cartoon!!!LOL You can clearly see my kids influence my TV!!!

Worry not Elle! It's an ad, not an article, and as such, it's bound to make more than one appearance. Keep an eye on all fashion magazines for the next few months.

Ohhh, across the pond. Ok, well, as long as stores that carry the items are there, then the ad should still show up.

Here you go, Bella. This is Picasso's masterwork, "Les Demoiselles d'Avignon (1907). Many consider it to be the first truly modern painting. Picasso was influenced by African masks when he painted the two faces at the right -- this was unheard of at the time. The painting is part of the collection of the Museum of Modern Art, NYC. You *do* see the similarities with Annie's photo, don't you?

So, I surfed on over to the Gap to check out the Red collection...no bandana to be found. So, I went to Gap, Inc and low and behold there he is on the home page of Gap, Inc...as well as in the Red image library. Nothing new though, as far as pics are concerned, it's the same pic we've all seen...although it is a better shot. You got the full pic, with no text. On the home page, you may have to refresh the page a few times to see him there, as the pics rotate. Again, it's not a new picture. Anyway, according to the image library, that's a t-shirt wrapped around his head, not a bandana! The tee is retailing for $28!!! www.gapinc.com/public/Media/med_image_gapbrand.shtmlThe picture is huge, so I am posting the direct link to it, rather than the image itself. www.gapinc.com/public/images/6_Media/Image_Libraries/Gap/Gap_Holiday_2006/APOLO_1910_ALL.jpg

I understand the pictures will appear in the November issues of Oprah and Vogue, and some others I can't remember now.
I wondered why the Chicago Sun Times said it especially liked Chris Rock's picture and Apolo's with the teeshirt wrapped around his head.
I have to say, I think that Red skater pose is my all time favorite picture of Apolo. He has the same look on his face as he had in the ad that kept appearing on Leno all throught he Olympics. That's where he got me.
That look.

I watched Oprah yestersay cause her whole show was about Bono and his Red campaigne. Her and Bono went shopping and one of the stores was The Gap, and in the store they had big pics of the celebs on the wall from the ad...they had every celeb on the wall except Apolo's! darn! (I guess they didn't want a nude pic hanging on the wall lmao.)
