Bella started it with petals in the sky. Crimson and Rach, quick to reply. Now my computer is stuck In this petal-ly muck AG tosses me a cute (?) repair guy. Gee thanks, AG, I don't know if I need a cable guy or a gardner to declog the ether! Of course the repair guy is cute. Well that's good, cause if he's not, I'm throwing him back.

Hahahahaha! Can't believe such an innocent action like tossing rose pedals inspired such a lively reaction! Very funny! In Latino culture, both first and middle names are often used since many siblings or parent/child might share the same first name and the middle name is what distinguishes them. Latinos also tend to use hypenated last names, the father's name first and the mother's name last, opposite of the way it is in the US. Perhaps Japanese culture has some similar customs. Personally, if my name were so beautiful and poetic, I'd use all three names as well.

If I use my first and middle name, I sound like a little hick girl. It's very "Jo Beth" or "Betty Sue." I'm really, really sorry if those are someone's names here, by the way...I'm sorry for a couple of different reasons.

My name hasn't been "Booger Depends" for a long time, MT. Not since I left Reno...
Anywho, suffice it to say that my name is country. Too country for comfort.

My name hasn't been "Booger Depends" for a long time, MT. Not since I left Reno... Anywho, suffice it to say that my name is country. Too country for comfort. Oh you poor thing. THat must be such a burden for a girl with a brain. I, OTOH have no middle name at all and yet, as an infant, I was held hostage by the hospital till my name challenged parents could stick something in the MI block of the birth certificate. So, I, and all my sibs only have letters. This causes endless trouble with various idiots who simply insist we must have middle names and just don't know them as well as irriatiations from people who don't know there punctuation rules and insist on a period aftr the letter even if it isn't an abbreviation. I had to show my birth certificate to a prof last term who insisted my name was typed wrong on a paer I turned in and took off a point for spellling. Can you believe that? I also googled two of our presidents (Calvin C Coolidge and I forget the other) who had the same MIO (middle initial only).

I'd go by the middle initial if I were you, MT. It's very "I'm a cyborg." (Which has always been an interest of mine. That, and my own personal clone to do my bidding. I quite like the idea of a minion.)
