I hope Apolo continues skating, but with the way USS is now, there's nothing for him and (hell none of he other skaters) left to come back to. Unless, he would go train in Canada like he almost was going to a couple years ago, untill they hired Derick Campel(sp?) but now he's gone, so maybe goingto Canada to tain could be an option? I dunno though.
I kinda don't want Apolo to go into acting. It would be weird lol. Cause ya know, thousands of ppl want to be actors. IMHO I don't see anything special about acting...seems like evryone in Hollywood wants tp me an actor. Plus, what other major sports star has gone into acting and made it big? none that I know of! sure, there's been some, but they've just been in lame movies, or small tv cameo roles.

I'm a libertarian and believe in limited govt and minimal laws. I hear Apolo is very nice and likes to inspire people so I feel confident, a simple request should be sufficient. Bella - yes, it is Brit slang as in Austin Powers - "The Spy Who Shagged Me" Acting?  I can't believe he is seriously considering it. (Entertainment a la Bella's suggestions sure but not acting.) The man is awkward and unbelievably, embarrasssingly wooden whener he is given lines to deliver. He is mesmerizing when he is himself. How many roles of Apolo being himself could be out there? It's not like Tom Cruise who can endlessly star in roles as a self-centered, ego-maniacal, hot shot so long as they can keep coming up with leading ladies shorter than he is. Which brings up the issue, if TC takes all the short leading ladies who will Apolo work with? Well, I guess if we're going to make a bad movie anyway, I'm 5'3"  |

I don't know why some of you assume Apolo wouldn't be a good actor. He's such a perfectionist that I can't imagine him settling for not doing a good job. I'm going to take a wait and see position on this one.
He's more comfortable in front of a camera all the time--and he belongs there.

I personally think he'd be amazing at whatever he chooses to do but In my opinion i hope he continues skating. But i'm just being selfish.

I wouldn't mind seeing apolo in movies. But i rather see him in ST for just the next olympics. We'll its apolo's decsion..(think i spelled that wrong) and what ever he choose i will be there cheering him on...YAY APOLO....U CAN DO IT!!!  |

I too would be there for Apolo all the way. I believe that if acting is wot he really wants to do, then he will give it his 100% energy. I for one don't want him to realate to some ppl in the business.
im basically saying that his pure and noble. I dont want "Hollywood" to mess that up. I do know his a person with a very strong character. i do not want "public use" kind of girls to want to get their dirty hands all over his clean body.
I wish for him to saty the way he is. I do wish for him to have a different future. Something that he loves and that works for him.
Yes I do agree with Billiey and want to see all of him. I would definetly move to america and vote for that law to pass. I understand that I am being selfish, but I really do not want any misfortune for him.
Basically, I very mush dislike Hollywood!!!

It's not that I dont want Apolo to be in the movies (because the guy has that charisma to achieve superstar status) but I just want to see him capture a few more medals. He is in a position to be a record breaker now, and I would like to see him use his popularity to help straighten out speedskating's governing bodies.
But if he did do hollywood, I would love him to take up the role of Gambit in the next X-Men movie. (Please don't hate me, I've been dreaming of him in that role when somebody asked me who I thought would be a good Gambit)
