They are all just cute as a button (and pretty dang handsome, too)! We need a "Men of U.S. ST Speedskating 2009" calendar with all their competition dates listed on it...  ...i think we mentioned something about a photo calendar last year too.  hmmm...if we just made them and gave them to each other as gifts and kept it in-house (so to speak), then that would be okay, I think... |

Wow! Thank you Lilly and Ohnofan for the wonderful close up podium pictures. Fortunately, you both are great at balancing on railings! I couldn't join you in your section for a personal podium view because I wasn't fast enough to do all the stairs so although I was there these really give me the flavor of being in the front row. The tv camera in the rink didn't begin to do justice to the radiant smiles of our guys! Karma to you both. ;D ;D ;D And a big hi to skaters waltz from musical mom  |

2009 Calendars are available at the Oval for purchase. Surely they would ship them out to the fans. Pics of everyone. A few individual ones and group shots. The media book is definitely worth they buy. Each athlete shows their own quirky personality within the pics on their personal page. AAO's pics are very jail-house rock! LOL

sk8on--love your pics---as you know I am camera-less and was sitting one seat away from you---I remember every one of those shots---thank you so much---the jumbotron video cameras in the middle of the ceiling were GREAT---I can so see the Olympics being in that venue---I miss you already sk8on  Thank you so much for sharing---in Vancouver and here on the board--- olympia |

Thank you to all for the absolutely wonderful photos! I really don't know why I bothered to bring my own camera! My photos certainly do not compare to yours. You ladies know how to capture great moments on film. Kudos to all of you!

Okay... I have an important question.
With so many pics being posted, are we in danger of having the thread disappear, like with the 'Nationals' thread of last December? Can someone here alert us when we need to start a new thread... I don't want to crash the system... LOL..!!
Also, my pics haven't been editted or enhanced with software b/c I just don't have the time to do that. What you're seeing are the actual shots, some are a little 'soft', some are a little dark, and I'll just post the original pics.
Number1fan... if you have photoshop... I wouldn't mind if you took a full-face shot of Ryan and put his face in the team photo (where he is hidden)... I won't have time b/c I've got to put together many albums for the Special Olympics athletes before their next games the first part of December. Just a thought!
