I've posted a ton of pics from the medal ceremony, but I felt there were so many 'expressions' that needed to be seen... to capture that moment and the happiness shared by the USA team members! Hope it wasn't 'over-the-top' for you viewers here b/c I loved every second of being there, sharing their joy!
That's it for tonight... there'll be others when I can squeeze in the time. Halloween and Grandkids need some attention too... LOL..!!

Oh, lily! You've outdone yourself. Those are showstoppers of the awards ceremony. Wait until everyone sees those in the morning -- they won't need that morning cup of coffee to jolt them awake after they see those! And, no - they weren't over the top. I love looking at all their expressions and feeling their joy. And I feel like Apolo is so proud of every single one of them...

Lily--your medals ceremony pictures are absolutely perfect--just how it was only 'better' because you were a lot closer than me--LOL--I love them all and there are not too many---no such thing-----and ohnofan--great pics from you too--I can still see you hanging off that rail with your camera snapping away or balancing your camera on the rail for the continuous shots---

Lily - You have really outdone yourself!!!!!! and I didn't think that was possible! And I agree with everyone else. There is NO SUCH THING as too many photos!!! LOL Ohnofan - Thanks for your wonderful photos too! I'm so impressed. I gained a new respect for sports photographers at my first ST event, as all my photos were just dark, blurry messes. (Of course, those photogs having a lense the size of the tower of Piza no doubt helps! LOL) You got some really great action shots and my hat's off to you. Between Lily, Susie and yourself, me thinks we have the makings of a photog posse.

Ahhh, Lily---your Medal Ceremony shots are awesome, makes me teary to see all the guys together and so happy---but then you always do such great work. You deserve a Gold Medal for your years of dedication to the sport, the camera and sharing with the Short Track fans. We truly appreciate it.

They are all just cute as a button (and pretty dang handsome, too)! We need a "Men of U.S. ST Speedskating 2009" calendar with all their competition dates listed on it...hmmm...another Rocker Fund fundraising idea.... JUST KIDDING!! We could never get rights clearances but it's just fun to think about anyway.

I love all the Awards Ceremony ones! It's like I was actually there with you all. Their smiles tell the whole story...=)
