A weather update for travelers to SLC and Vancouver: http://www.weather.com: Tho it's a stormy weekend (currently) in SLC with rain and snow, it'll be mostly sunny from Tuesday through the WC-1 weekend. http://www.accuweather.com: This site gives a 15-day forecast and shows that Vancouver will be rainy Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday of WC-2 week. (Sunday forecast will appear tomorrow.) These are only forecasts... and weather is fickle, so keep checking the weather sites for the latest updates and pack accordingly. We leave tomorrow for Los Angeles, the first leg of our trip! Woo Hoo!!!   |

Right now, Weather.com is projecting partly sunny/cloudy to sunny weather for Salt Lake City next weekend. The projected temperatures from Thursday to Monday range from 66-69 degrees for the days' highs, to 44-48 degrees for the days' lows.
It sounds like thoroughly pleasant, somewhat crisp fall weather.
We'll have to keep our eye on it though. At least at this point, I can start packing.

 WAHOO!!!!!!! So....Apolo news ladies from your UT "Rep" LoL! ... KSL NEWS will be having APOLO on their "Sportsbeat Sunday" in a couple minutes...not sure if it's live or not...but yay!!! I'll take any news they give and get attention on the Speedskating! I'll let you know how it goes...I don't know how to get a link or anything?? Also...random tidbits for you...the weather storm they forcast for UT was not that bad...some snow but not as huge as they had forcast. So I'm happy! It's been cold but it's supposed to be, like Susie and Lily said, warming up by midweek and in sunny through Sunday and around 65-70 degrees! =) May rain a little Sunday?! Good forcast all around though! And I know it's on the other thread, but congrats to Lori on your 1000 post! And mtnme on the new camera!!! Almost time for Sportsbeat, so better go watch! Thanks wildfire and evie! What a great interview with Apolo. You're right - he does look wonderful. So excited for you guys that will see the World Cup next weekend! I love how he talks about the "romantic winter games" in comparison to the summer games and how great Vancouver 2010 will be. Hope I can get tickets!!!!
