On another note..... August, I like even numbers too, but I still had to screw it up for ya and give you back your karma- in fact- I'll give you two and solve both problems. And just who's smiting my girl August? (and you needn't bother to answer- it's a rhetorical question...)  August being one of the more thoughtful, always eloquent and often amusing posters on GA, I take issue with this behavior seeping it's way over here.  1) We're an OPEN forum. Yeah, that's right, we post here right out there for all to see. We've got nothin' to hide, and that means you are free to peruse the forum ramblings at will. I'd will that ya knock off on the 'drive by's' for the privilege. 2) Open also means everyone's entitled to their opinion- without getting smacked with this petty behavior for voicing it. That's right- at GA it's not just "One Opinion- All the Time". Ya got a problem with that? Hey, there ARE other forums out there that cater to the singular viewpoint of the eternally offended . Personally I find this smiting thing offen sive. 3) Open also means 'Open-minded' - I suggest you get one if you choose (let me repeat that- CHOOSE) to spend your time at GA. ITA, and thank-you, Mtnme. I'm not going to say that smiting never happens here, but it's a very, very rare thing, ususally reserved for personal attacks against other board members. I think that message boards are more interesting when people can disagree with one another's opinions freely, while being civil, and without fear of reprisal. August is a valued member here at GA. I like August, and I liked her post. Did I agree with every last bit of it? No. But I did enjoy her strong, expressive writing and her unique perspective. She made me smile, and at the end of a long, tough day, that's a good thing!  ETA: Lily -- what a great photo! |

Lurker you're very much welcome. When did that happen August? I wasn't around when it happened...I missed it  The romance rumors annoy me sometimes too, and can prevent me from voting, which sucks because they can dance well. Wish they'd leave that out. Lily, your grandson is so lucky, he met (at that time a future olympic gold-medal winner). He seems like such a sweet boy. Now I found out I have to wait a few days for my dish...that's okay. Next week sometime, just means I'll be listening to the games on the radio...(sorry for my random moment)  |

I was quite surprised (earlier) when Misty May-Treanor's name came up... with Max, to top it off! You might say I'm partial to Misty! You have every right to be partial to Misty. That is a great photo of her with your grandson! I am anxious to see what both Misty and Maurice can bring to season 7. We know that olympians have the work ethic and let's hope for great dancing skills. Toni and Alec are sizzling hot in their photo! Poor Edyta! She can't last more than a week or two with Jeffrey Ross. It will be a sad day in this household when Edyta is not on the show. She is the main reason that I can convince Mr. sak755 to watch the show with me. Maybe they could show a quick clip of her in a skimpy string dress each week. It would stop the grumbling on the other end of my sofa. LOL! |

Thanks for those pics, Number1!  Can't wait til Monday! I watched Cloris Leachman on Bonnie Hunt's new talk show the other day. Cloris is hilarious! I laughed so hard through the whole interview. It's hard to believe she's 82. Corky was on the show too. He's a really nice guy and he has a very young voice. Him and Mark are SO much alike. I found the interview on youtube in case anyone wants to watch it. It's so funny! I think Corky really has his hands full. LOL!
