WOW #1fan,these pics are even hotter...Alec Mazo is so hott  ... All my bets are on Julianne Hough and her partner Cody Linley this season.They look so cute togehter and i know Julianne is gonna make him look sexxy on that dance floor  ..Kim and Mark look hott togehter also..the contestants are sure gonna bring excitement to the dance floor this season  |

Jeeze, Toni and Alec are going to set that dance floor on fire...smokin' I love the one of Maks and Misty-May, awe, what a cute smile. Sapp seems like a sweet guy underneath that tough guy football 'act' Edyta gorgeous as usual *sigh* and Inna looks like a belly dancer  This is going to be a fun season. I want to see what Kim has to offer. I'm a little tough on her. |

I'm looking forward to this season too! Really psyched about Misty Mae & Max - can't wait to see what they can do! But really, really unhappy about Lacey Schwimmer being a new pro - please don't hurt me for saying this, but I didn't like her on SYTYCD at all and never really wanted to see her again... Not looking forward to her on the show - again, IMO, YMMV, all power to her fans, I'm just not one of them... I don't really recall her, so I wouldn't know one way or another.  And there's nothing wrong for thinking that way. I don't care much for Karina. She's an amazing dancer, but rubs me the wrong way. I love reading what others have to say. |

New season! Time to dance again. To be honest, I haven't really decided if I'm tuning in this time. I only watched bits of last season and half of the season before. We shall see. Regarding the new contestants: Not exactly turning cartwheels over any of them right now, but that might change if I see something special in someone. Lance I saw more of than I ever asked to in season four. Every time there was a camera on he found his way in front of it. I'm a long time fan of Toni and do wish her well. At first I was sorry she didn't get Maks (welcome back Maks!  ) but it's probably best this way. Hopefully Alec will show her off more. Kim K. I've only heard about, and unfortunately not great things. Never saw her reality show. Don't know much about her, but who knows, she may surprise me. I heard she got a pretty bad cut on her foot like last week or so. Good luck with that. Mulva... sorry... Cloris will hopefully be safe and do ok. I'm glad they dragged Corky out to dance with her so she wouldn't look entirely like she was trying to rumba with her grandson. I've always thought she was awesome and wish her well. Julianne's partner looks like she picked him up during recess at a middle school. I hope he can bring it but push come to shove, she can always step up to the plate and win it for them. *cough*season 5*cough* Oh come now! Like Helio really outdanced Mel! Sorry... I take it back  The rest I either barely know or don't know at all. We shall see. I admit a part of me is interested in seeing who will drop out first, who will make it to the semi-finals for reasons no one can figure out, who will start the rumor mill churning, and who will take home the gaudy mirror ball trophy. |

Wow, I haven't even been on this thread. So I was surprised to see all the the new peeps, and REALLY surprised to see Lacey brought on as a pro. Sorry Lurker, I enjoyed Lacey immensely on SYTYCD. August being one of the more thoughtful, always eloquent and often amusing posters on GA, I take issue with this behavior seeping it's way over here.  1) We're an OPEN forum. Yeah, that's right, we post here right out there for all to see. We've got nothin' to hide, and that means you are free to peruse the forum ramblings at will. I'd will that ya knock off on the 'drive by's' for the privilege. 2) Open also means everyone's entitled to their opinion- without getting smacked with this petty behavior for voicing it. That's right- at GA it's not just "One Opinion- All the Time". Ya got a problem with that? Hey, there ARE other forums out there that cater to the singular viewpoint of the eternally offended . Personally I find this smiting thing offen sive. 3) Open also means 'Open-minded' - I suggest you get one if you choose (let me repeat that- CHOOSE) to spend your time at GA. |

Ya got that right about Lance; he so craves the limelight; it will be interesting to see how he sells the 'sexy' with a female partner.
Maks and Misty-mae will be fun to watch in terms of their working relationship; as an Olympian she's going to be used to hard work, discipline. But golly she didn't look natural in that picture with him...she's more the girl next door than the false eye lashes. Only thing I know her from is Beijing.
