dissapointing results  .
for me, will has been the best male technical dancer on the show.
his early departure does not surprise me one bit since sytycd is just another reality show that allows an unlimited number of fan generated votes.
the most popular contestant wins all the time!...like the show says...their winner is crowned 'america's favorite dancer'.
any dance company who signs will, will be soo rewarded by his talents.

I feel ya, #1fan, really. You are absolutely right, any dance company would love to have Will.  On the flip side, I'm ecstatic that my Marky made it another week. His hip-hop with Comfort was amazing, and I really liked him in the foxtrot as well. Maricorgi, I agree. The producers have thrown a lot of craptastic stuff at Mark, and judges' comments have usually been lukewarm toward him. Really, Texas two-step? Foxtrot not once, but twice? I could go on and on. So I think a lot of fans, myself included, rallied to save him, because he just hasn't been able to show his *best* stuff yet. And he really is the most mesmerizing dancer on the show, IMO. Fingers crossed for a great Top 6 show for Mark ... and hopefully Top 4! I do love Katee and Chelsie, too. There's something about Courtney that bugs me though. I think it's the way she puts on that sad puppy-dog face to beg for votes and says things like, "I hope America loves me ..." in that whiny-desperate voice. Aside from that, I think she's a great dancer. Josh and Twitch are both great, but I think Josh definitely has the edge in versatility. |

I was sorry to Mark go before Twitch. Chelsie had such wonderful ballroom technique but I never felt she connected with her partners and consequently with us. Joshua continues to amaze me.. I'll bet there's training back there somewhere or he is the fastest learner on the planet. My favorite dancer from both the techniques and the performances has been Kaytee so she's FTW for me.

mark was absolutely wonderful last week!...that 'dark' jazz routine was right up his alley!
chelsie is an awesome ballroom dancer but she came across a bit 'icy' for me and i guess for america too.
i feel joshua has been the lock on the men's side for a few weeks now...he's been fantabulous in every routine they throw at him!
katee is by far the best technical dancer left...love all her performances but she doesn't come across as personable as joshua...so i think joshua will win this season...i'll be thrilled if katee wins though. 
...and if joshua or katee do not win...i won't go there  |

I was heartbroken when Mark was sent home last week, but his goodbye was so classy and eloquent. I'm super proud of him, and Top-6 week was one of his best ever. He truly ended on a high note. I'm looking forward to seeing him again on the results show Thursday night. I hope the producers will give me a nice early Christmas gift of three Mark dances, the way they had three Sara dances on last season's finale. Can't hurt to hope.  #1fan, I agree - it absolutely should be josh or katee for the win. I read a few finale spoilers, which is fun for me now that Mark is out of the competition (I never wanted to be "spoiled" when he was dancing - always wanted to be surprised and get the full effect). I really hope they slow the pace down a little next season and avoid running the dancers so ragged. |

Tonight's finale was a bit of a letdown for me, as I knew it would be with no Mark. Poor dancers seemed so rundown. Especially after that ending Mia piece - what a cruel marathon for them. The only thing that REALLY bugged me was the over-the-top praise for Twitch's foxtrot performance. Especially from Mary, who tore Mark to shreds after his foxtrot with Comfort, and Mark was miles better than Twitch, IMO. The guys' athleticism was on full display in that Russian piece. Impressive! I enjoyed Katee's solo probably the most of any solos she's done this season. I didn't really like the Broadway number (the only girl-girl number I truly enjoyed was from Season 1, with Melody and Ashle - now that was a standout!). And I felt bad that the judges took a few not-so-subtle jabs at Courtney. I would have voted for her just because of that, as well as for picking the Sonya jazz as her favorite piece of the season ... but I couldn't muster the energy to vote. Also, I had to concentrate on Project Runway! Anyhoo, looking forward to tomorrow night. Since they are bringing back dancers from prior seasons, I don't think Mark will have the 3 partner dances I had hoped for, but any Mark appearances would be very welcome. |

the show felt 'flat' for me too angelina...probably because the contestants were pushed to their limits (and because mark was missing).
joshua and courtney looked totally wasted after their contemporary foursome dance.
looks like joshua is going to win ...just checked dialidol.

I was furious with Nigel last night for criticizing their fatigue. good god.. they had 2 group no's, 3 duets and a solo. just ridiculous. I was afraid Joshua was going to faint after the first dance. His number was very busy during voting last nite. I think it's him. However they should NOT be calling him an untrained dancer because his ballet work really shows up. He's clearly the better boy. Kaytee is best for me technically. I think Courtney's dad looks like a NYC "wise guy"..maybe he will put out a hit on Nigel. I can't wait to see my fave popper Robert tonite. He has a new IKEA commercial if you all have not seen it... YOUTUBE... he's amazing.

p.s. off to Hartford CT tomorrow nite for the Idols concert. Since I've watched so many vids of it I feel like I've already seen it, but everyone says they all sound so much better in person, especially dear DA. Hoping I won't be sitting amongst the screamers during his songs.

i felt joshua thought that katee was going to win...when she was called out at 3rd place...josh was the most surprised/shocked.
I LOVED TONIGHTS SHOW!!!
since this was my first season watching...i had NO clue that nigel knew how to tap/dance...although he choreographed the '5 moes' routine.
katee had the most performances (3)...followed with mark and josh with 2 each.
FABULOUS, ENTERTAINING and i'm sooooooooooo glad the show/sponsors gave the top woman (KATEE) $50,000!
